There is a guy on EBay selling the tabs. He's got lots of colors but they are hand painted. I didn't want to deal with that so I got all black plastic, no paint. Never had a vehicle with accents on the vents, not dying to start now.
believe they are 3D printed...
So far so good with rubbing off. I probably would not have done it if it required a darker color, but Yellow seemed easy. I'll keep you posted on its staying power.
Thanks to StickerFab, Sharpie Markers and zmancj, my blue delete project is complete...
Black Stickfab insets for grab handles
Yellow Sharpie on Blue Thread = Green Seat Stitching
Black Vent Tabs replace blue
IF I could only get the color of the electronic speedometer and all the graphics...
I like my "Bronco 1966" spare cover on my OBX and decided to keep it and save the $500. My research indicated that if you're running a smaller spare that you should definitely NOT use AWD/4WD and just use the spare until you can get a matching tire size put on. I could live with this.
bought a 12 pack of these on Amazon. Only used one for the front drivers but the thread started not taking the ink as quickly so I will start a new one on the passenger side.
You want to know the best thing about blue? You can add yellow to it to make green!
Super happy with the result. Took about 1.5 hours for full drivers seat. Passenger up next
They're saying 3 weeks. I'm not in a huge rush. Would like them by mid/end of April. But it may be worth asking via phone.
I just don't want to get them and realize I have unforeseen incompatibility issues or other gotchas.
For an upgrade to my standard OBX setup I have in my Custom Offsets cart:
17 inch Method MR703's +35 offset, 6x5.5 lug pattern
285/70/17 M. Thompson Baja Boss A/Ts. - STD load range.
Black spline lugs
TPMS
I'm having them mounted and balanced and shipped to me for install.
Is there anything...
Obviously a manufacturing/design defect. I started freaking out as the storm clouds were rolling in. Thank god for this forum, I thought it was user error.
