I think it was more about ensuring the doors were robust since they could be removed. Having flimsy plastic cup holders increasing the outer mold line of the doors would make them more susceptible to damage. What Ford did makes sense, but it's still a bit frustrating. The mesh inserts will...

It's going to take a lot more than 10k over sticker, but yes I plan to put mine up for sale the day I take delivery. Will probably put it up for $30k over sticker. If someone wants it that bad, so be it. Otherwise I'm going to enjoy it.
