The side pieces are integral for holding it all together. It is good for everyday use. I have not had any issues with it and has proved useful during camping and beach trips to store stuff on top of it like a shelf.
I have been trying to figure out if I can get rid of that sound. I know the exact one your talking about. I also have a 2 door. It sounds like itās the plastic trim behind the seatbelt holder but it could be the roof like you said.
Not that I know of. I was trying to see if I can 'Jerry' rig a bracket but I think it would be too complicated for me to do myself. When more options come out for rear bumpers with swing out carriers I will probably switch to that, but for now, having some extra reinforcement for the heavy ass...
I think you are referring to the cargo enclosure. I bought it from the ford accessories website. There is a link in my original post on this thread. It is super useful and fully encloses the trunk area to prevent theft when the doors or roof is off.
Updated the original post with some of the new mods as of today. Here is a photo dump of some of my recent trips with the bronco.

Bronco Camping Trip:
@Darrell Really cool video! I need to check this out. Idk how far into MD people are, but there's Peter's Mill Run in the Shenadoah Valley. About 2 hours from DC. I took my Bronco there and it was a lot of fun. A few mud puddles and some easy technical rock crawling. Took about 2-3 hours to do...
Not gonna lie, having one of the first few broncos in my area, is like what I imagine driving a lamborghini feels like. I've seen so many people taking photos and videos of my car while driving and have had probably 20-30 people throughout a couple months(pretty much all dudes) come up to talk...
Yes I have had mine for a couple of months now. I ordered through Ted Britt in Fairfax and had zero issues with them. It was delivered via truck. If you see a VB 2 door on 495 or 66 it is most likely me. The day I got mine, Ted Britt was also delivering 2 other Broncos and my sales guy had said...
I did actually just reach out to another dealer nearby who said they updated their machine last week so they should be able to do it. Maybe I purchased at the wrong dealer š
Thanks for the quick reply though.
@ThatGuyatFord How did you get the alignment done? I have had mine lifted with 35's and my dealer claims they still don't have the alignment specs for broncos. I've already put over 1000 miles with no issues but I know I need to get an alignment asap.
If you like driving manual cars then youāll love it. Iām sure it would be an easier time to overland or off-road with the automatic, but the joy of whipping around in a manual car canāt be beat. I wouldnāt worry if I were you. Youāll enjoy it. I hope you get yours soon.
