Sure, they want you to buy more expensive trim but what they really don’t want is for you to walk; they know there’s is market for BB and BD.

I don’t think they are that different when it comes to off road capabilities; the only real difference is Sasquatch, and that you can get on every trim level.

Considering the huge interest in the FE it definitively makes sense Ford will come up with a similarly loaded $60K+ trim. They would leave money on the table if they didn't.

I am happy with my BB and mid package, glad that option exists; cloth options are a bit boring but I will get over it and don't want cheap leather. I did the comparison with more expensive models and would have spent thousands more to get extras I don't care for. Anything else I want I will get...

Not sure this all makes sense; I m sure the model range, package combos is carefully crafted so no-one walks Perfect world customization would make them a lot more expensive.

I was excited about the fastback but had hoped for something easier to open and fold all the way back. Also, am wondering how long this will last, it seems finicky. I may wait for other options to be available.

Not really but the four door will be a smoother ride with its longer wheel base.
