  1. Cervini Stalker hood installed impressions & photos

Good question. another aspect of that is weight. Is the hood weight similar enough that you wouldn't need to spec different struts. Also, does this hood save weight? Given, it's not a race car so weight isn't a huge concern but it's a nice bit of data to know.
  2. Windows Open Slightly When unlocked

Unlock the door, then open and close it. That should stop the drop since it seems to only occur at unlock. Which is pretty lame. BMW has had this feature figured out for decades. Seems it wouldn't be difficult to copy .
  3. Door module update fixes window flop

Yep. In a pinch chapstick will work. This feature and its associated problems were an issue on BW Minis way back in 200. I used 303 Aerospace on the seals and it worked for the 18 years I owned my Mini. You do need to reapply more often than you do something like SilGlyde
  4. New 2023 window down feature?

Thank you. I have an incoming '24 so fingers crossed
  5. New 2023 window down feature?

It would be great if that upper chassis brace fit Non Raptor models. I'm a big fan of a rigid chassis. Seems unlikely since it has a different chassis code but ya gotta have dreams.
  6. Consumer reports reliability (Jeeps and Rivian)

Some off road tires are often designed to eject rocks. It's even a selling point for some manufacturers. My new guy take on this is; this is mainly a recirculating topic for discussion because the Bronco rocker panels take such a beating from rocks. My wife's RRS has 100K plus miles on it with...
  7. First Look! ORACLE Lighting Oculus™ Bi-LED Headlights for 2021+ Ford Bronco

Sorry, new to the Bronco thing. Haven't received ours yet. I understand the difference now. Thanks
  8. First Look! ORACLE Lighting Oculus™ Bi-LED Headlights for 2021+ Ford Bronco

I read through this thread but might have missed it. Is there or will there be a version without the signature look? I prefer the base headlight look. Since the rectangular portion screws on to the headlight base module what about a kit sans rectangle bit?
  9. Found the missing 2023 Broncos

Any rail yard close they could be staging to load?
  10. Forscan Lite for iOS

On a side note; VMware Fusion will now run on the ARM chipset Macs. I use Fusion daily for server connections. Found this out because I'm about to get a corporate refresh and my Intel based Mac is going away and corporate won't let use Fusion any more because the default Win OS isn't an...
  11. Consumer reports reliability (Jeeps and Rivian)

If "riled" is fairly steady state, is there an up? ;)
  12. Consumer reports reliability (Jeeps and Rivian)

Not skewed when honest reporting is done. Most reporting uses a statistical mean if I remember my long distant stat classes. The only advantage or possible disadvantage in larger numbers is accuracy. 30% incident rate of 40,000 vehicles vs 30% incident rate of 100,000 are, in an overly...
  13. Wow 1000 mile Break In Engine Rule 2.7 engine😳

Done 1000 mile oil changes on every new motor I've bought or built. Even less many years ago when it was "break in the cam and then change the oil" on a new build. Never experienced negative results from doing so, so I tend to stick with it.
  14. Top 5 MUST-HAVE Accessories for the Ford Bronco

Great post. I've always had a good experience with this site for keys. Land Rover, Ram and Mustang spares have all worked flawlessly. Local locksmith cuts my emergency key blanks and the dealer programs them. I'll be doing the same for our Bronco when we get hands on...
  15. Cybertruck only $68,890!

Or maybe a Bronco with a Coyote. https://www.ford.com/bronco/bronco-dr/
  16. Hardtop cracks? Something else?

We had the exact same experience with the 01 to 03 MINIs. The expansion tank was a joke. Started puking out the seams. BMW was being just as big a set of tools as Ford is now. Incessant calls to corporate by thousands of MINI owners may or may not have impacted the redesign but I'd like to dream...
  17. Hardtop cracks? Something else?

Smells a lot like a design manufacturing issue. Likely a shrink issue as a guess. That kind of repeatability always points to a failed process or design. Or both. I'm waiting on our Bronco and fingers crossed this is fixed before Jan 2024. I'm placing no bets on that happening.
  18. Ford Says These MIC Hardtop Cracks Are Considered Normal

I generally tell dealers to not wash my vehicles. That's like asking for swirls and spider webs in your paint.
  19. Ford Says These MIC Hardtop Cracks Are Considered Normal

All courtesy of the $400 "dealer Prep" the force you to pay. Seriously, that stinks and I hope you get a solid resolution.
  20. Ford Says These MIC Hardtop Cracks Are Considered Normal

My experience with 2 different vehicle class action law suits is; the lawyers get rich, the corporation makes some cheap concessions and the victims get $1000 coupon off when buying a new vehicle from the same manufacturer that crapped on you in the first place.
