I’ll likely go for base ( maybe Sasquatch). I’m ready to get back to basics... and the base really isn’t that basic. We’ve got a GX460 for all the comfy stuff while on the road and trails.
its great for cycling, floating, or fly fishing. Minimal pocket bulk and expensive keys are expensive when in water. I miss the old keys with no chip/buttons.
This is my “cheap” Bronco. FYI- keypad been around since early 80s. I remember it on my grandparents 85 Mark 7 and parents 86 Taurus. Always a functional feature.
Me too, just not as much as I had at one time. It’s always had a pretty good dividend yield. I bought a few thousand shares when Ford stock dipped to a dollar, and mostly cashed out when it hit $17. Helped me pay cash for my wife’s vehicle.
Because the Ford family has class B stock, you’ll...
Nope. The Bronco is the perfect size for me and my needs. We considered an Expedition when we purchased the GX460. It’s just too wide and low on trails. The GX will still be the road trip/family/tow rig.
I’m not so sure it’ll drive better than a F150. It may handle better but the ride could be more choppy with a shorter wheelbase. Of course, that all depends on suspension travel and weight distribution.

I’m in Boise and I’m okay with a flight and drive home- won’t be the first time.
The miles make the memories, and it’s always good to see the USA!
Very likely. Did some upgrades to the 08 FJ but only tires and rear bags on the 16 GX. I bought the 12 Mustang GT from my dad, already has track pack and Ford performance tuner, all set.
My dream combo a decade ago was an FJ and Mustang. Now it’s that Mustang and Bronco. I love big round...
I’m okay to wait. First, get the first-year bugs worked out. Second, my kids will start driving and I’ll need a vehicle.
Finally, the GX does well off road and will still be used to tow (like the FJ before it). Although it might stay cleaner when the Bronco arrives! But it’s time for some...
