First and only time I drove a Jeep was two years ago when I rented a 4-door Wrangler in lower Manhattan to drive to Philadelphia. I wasnāt planning to get a Jeep, but oddly for that location, thatās what they had. Drove it over to Brooklyn, and then experienced the death wobble going 60 mph...
Itās a great color. I finally saw my first (and so far only) big Bronco on the road a couple weeks ago, and it was Cactus Gray. It looked pretty much identical in color to my Lunar Rock 4Runner, which I also wasnāt sure I would like until I saw it in person. Iāve never gotten as many...
Those are definitely differences, and there are surely additional ones that people would cite for why the Bronco is better. But the video title seemed to tease them revealing the two specific things that stood out for them, and they never seemed to get there. Maybe it was the mpg and tire size...
I haven't sat in a Bronco yet, so I can't speak to which is better. But I agree with Tommy's take on the 4Runner. Its interior feels a little dated. But it also feels well-made and durable -- good materials and good basic functional design. Tech is a different conversation, I think. No...
Did I miss the part where they said specifically what the two things are that made the Bronco better?
Looking forward to part two. Nice to see my exact 4Runner sharing a video with a Bronco. Their comments about both vehicles seemed reasonable. Both great-looking vehicles, IMO. I love the...
Were you at 20th and Market in Denver today? Finally saw my first one there today, and it looked just like yours. Looked awesome - pretty much identical in color to my 4Runner. I committed at least two traffic violations trying to get a better look! (The Bronco was never in jeopardyā¦)
Wow, if this is all legit, it sounds like an incredibly risky way to buy a car. Something goes wrong and Ford gets to hold your money rather than you? I guess you must have had a reason to make that bargain. This whole Bronco mess sucks.
Nice post. Your Bronco looks awesome. These are the first photos I've seen of the stock soft top in safari mode. I like this. Reminds me of my 4Runner with all side windows and the rear hatch window down, which is my favorite way to drive it.
I do like the Bestop featured in the video...
I'm wondering the same thing. Never heard of the Stig until today. From the highlighted threads in the OP, they seem to be a Ford employee who leaked photos and production details to the forum. According to the second post, they're now facing discipline from Ford over this. Not sure exactly...
Congrats! No need to apologize! Not to me, anyway ā I wonāt be in the market for a Bronco for a couple more years, at least. Iām just looking forward to seeing them around.
Area 51 looks great.
