I like the color and it was my original favorite but I think in the grey and gloomy PNW the A51 works better. I think CG would be my go to (or RR) if I lived in one of those places with the big bright yellow ball in the sky. I forgot what they call that.
I have always been natural asperated engine guy and this will be my first venture into turbo. I read that lag can be annoying and that engine stale thing hopefully can be disabled but overall I read good things about the 2.7l.
I had written off Race Red as I think it looks ass in a F150 but in Bronco form it looks pretty sharp. I think if i lived in an area where softtop was feasible I might go for it but since I don't and endless rain is a factor I have to stick with MIC/A51 combo.
$300 for a Filson sweater. That a bargin! That stuff is pricy and I live in Seattle. It used to be just normal priced before they went big time. (This is the point wear I start talking about a 5 cent candy bar.)
I was on the Catcus Grey bandwagon then I saw the A51 in person. I also like that the A51 is Bronco specific in MY21. It would suck to be driving all proud in your 60k Bronco and then have a soccer mom drive up in her matching Ecosport. (No offence to soccer mom's in Ecosports, but soccer moms...
IMO there are colors that are better in the 2d and colors that are better in the 4d. IMO A51 is a 4dr color while the Cyber Orange looks better in the 2d
I noticed that the leadership team was majority Brit and or Aussie. Not a bad thing if designing an off-road car (Think Land Rover Defender) but I never thought the Gen 1 Bronco was distributed much off-shore so kind of weird hearing them say heritage this or that.
Go to the Puget Sound Bronco Brigade group. One of our guys uploaded a number of photos of the Overland. They are very accurate. It looks great with the MIC, MGV, and grey fenders. I also think it pops well with the BL yellow. When I see with the Wildtrak blue interior trim not so much. BL...
i was so happy to see one in person on a grey overcast day in Seattle (Which is about 80% of all days here). The color really worked in our environment. When I went the dealers and saw the colors shared with other vehicles they just didn't say Bronco as well as the A51 IMO.
I 100% agree with worrying about the aging but when you see the A51 in person you realize it is a robin's egg blue pastel and will age well. It looks nothing like the B&P nor the paint sample. It also looks really good with the MIC which in Seattle area is a must.
When I saw the Area 51 live at the Filson event I knew it was for me. I think half of the Seattle Res. holders will order the same thing. The flat paint is more traditional Bronco then a metallic paint. I personally like the MIC with the A51 better then the soft top and the rock rails on the...
Ok, I know, I know...Does "Do what ever the f__k you want" mean green light? I think it has to be Area 51. It is the only color that is exclusive to the Bronco/Bronco sport in MY21. I think that should add collector value as I drive this car for 40 year under the lifetime warranty from...
Dang, I really want everybody to hate Area 51 so i would be the only one with it. Wife wants Carb Grey (mentioned above) but it will kind of look like a Ford Exploder. Race Red looks nice when new but after a few years I sense it will fade and look like a a dude past his prime wearing a...
I moved this week from Evergreen to Bowen. Evergreen bad mouthed the Bowen FREE lifetime warranty but after talking to Caitlin at Bowen the bad mouthing was unfounded. The bad mouthing included that the warranty required dealer scheduled maintenance, and the coverage was poor. Caitlin...
