  1. Anyone with a 2 door regret not going 4 doors?

Nobody who bought a 2dr will admit to having regrets, even if they had some. It's sort of a "thing" between the 2s and the 4s. 😂
  2. New York Sold: Mounted and balanced OBX rims and tires $375

5 OBX rims and tires for sale, spare has zero miles and the rest 10k miles. Never been off-road and includes 4 center caps and all tpms. Pickup only Long Island NY
  3. Decision help needed: Black Diamond vs Outer Banks

I'm in a similar situation as you, NYC driving for work, Long Island beaches for play. No hardcore rock climbing so I went with a nonsquatch OBX mid package, added another forum members SAS takeoffs and 1.5" spacers. It rides like a dream, has a nice aggressive stance and I can still fit in most...
  4. So I'm Planning to run Topless this summer...

It's not a good idea to remove the rear part of the hardtop and leave the front panels in place. I'm not sure if that's your intention but it sounds that way.
  5. New owner ?’s

Congratulations Make sure they gave you the tool kit and that you got your Ford rewards points. My dealer gave me an extended service plan but neglected to tell me, and didn't put it on the sales agreement, that he did that in lieu of the points. I made them address that. Good luck
  6. How to recalibrate speedometer for bigger tires?

@R1Bronco How is the $200 flashcal cheaper than a forscan cable, $50, and a 1 year subscription, $12? Heck, there's even a free trial version of forscan. Unless you don't have a laptop, otherwise it's much cheaper and not hard to use at all. There are countless forscan threads with all the info...
  7. You can’t beat the SOFT top!

Agreed To each his own. Personally, living in the north east I like being warm in the winter, and able to hear phone conversations with the hard top. Plus, I hate to tell you softies, it's not a big deal to pop the front panels off and toss them in the back when the weather is nice and I don't...
  8. Outer Banks wheel help

I'm pretty sure Rudy already has OBX wheels and tires and is looking to step up. I also have a nonsquatch OBX and just installed a set of 35" sas takeoffs that I purchased from another forum member. Crash bars needed to be removed, and I had a 1" leveling kit installed. Aside from those things...
  9. Installed the GOAT cargo tray for 4 Door. Pics and notes below!

Overall I think it looks great, thanks for all the input. On another note, it looks like you have a Jtops Bimini installed. How do you like it? Anything you care to share about, pros/cons? Thanks
  10. Sasquatch Wheels and Tires Going on Non-SAS OBX!

Sorry for your loss, hopefully you were not hurt. RIP OBX
  11. Top-off / topless etiquette and best practices

Excellent advice all around My first week with my OBX I decided to run to the store with the top off. Learned this lesson the hard way: DON'T PARK UNDER LIGHT POSTS. I can still hear the seagulls laughing.
  12. Trail sight deletes?

Personally I like the trail sights, plus they make a great spot to mount rod holders.
  13. Long Island Broncos

Joe just hit the "follow this thread" button. Helifino16 will post updates here and FB, which I don't have either 🤚
  14. Long Island Broncos

Count me in. Thanks for the heads up
  15. Ok to only remove front and 2nd row panels?

I think you're misunderstanding the warning. It's fine to leave the rear section on and have the others removed but not vice versa. On a 4 door the center section helps support the front 2 pieces and the rear helps support the center section. Without the one behind, the one(s) in front can...
  16. Driving with only rear hard top at speed

No issues at all and I agree with the other posts, I wouldn't leave the back window open when driving at speed
  17. Sasquatch Wheels and Tires Going on Non-SAS OBX!

I'm assuming you have to remove the crash bars in front and behind the wheel? Hoping to get away with just removing the front and retain some crash protection. Please let me know Thanks
  18. Easy and inexpensive interior lighting upgrade

I don't need to elaborate on the really poor interior lighting the Bronco has aside from saying a firefly gives off more light. I found these rechargeable lights on Amazon, they're magnetic and come with adhesive backed metal plates. I had to use the metal plates on my MIC top but I think the...

  20. Mabett Mud Flap Review

Do what I did and reach out to mabett, they made good on the issue by giving me a partial refund to cover the cost of SS bolts. I posted a link to the ones you need a while back. If you can't find it let me know Good luck 🤞
