After many years of only having cars/trucks with leather seats and carpet, I was worried about what I was getting into with a Badlands with MGV and the rubber floor.
6 months after taking delivery I am 100% happy with the MGV, it's not too hot and a couple of spills wiped right up. Also, the...
On a Desert Tan Bronco? Keep It!
I saw an Everglades in Desert Tan and thought the decal was a great fit for that color. Didn't think I would like it, but I 100% did.
The bull bar comes with 2 mounting tabs that are bolted to the back of the bar. The bull bar does not come with any mounting hardware as you are intended to use the Bronco bolts that come from the factory on the modular bumper.
The light bar is then mounted to these tabs using an "Elite Series...
For my new cars, I change the oil at 500-1000, 2500, 5000, then every 5000 thereafter.
I know that is probably excessive but it has worked. I've never had an oil-related issue (so far, fingers, toes and eyes crossed) with new engines.
I had the Fast Intentions sill protectors but found they were too small for the protection I wanted. I replaced them with these BESTAOO sill guards and like them very much.
I've had them on for about 4 months and they are still solidly attached. Even if they do work loose in the future, that...
After I installed a DV8 light bar (see above) I was buzzing around town and saw the dealer had a BRaptor on the lot so I stopped in to have a look. As an encore to my Bronco Everglades ADM post, I give you...
To be honest, I had higher expectaion$. Only $50K, HB Ford? Thought you'd go for...
With thanks to @JimmyG for the inspiration, I installed a DV8 Offroad bumper bull bar and 20" light bar. I went with the dual-row light bar, fits perfectly.
I was stumped at where to route the power cable but finally found a spot behind the L/F headlight and it was an easy install after that. I...
Popped in an Archetype Racing SLAP-BPM. When I pulled out the factory mount I was surprised, disappointed, and a little embarassed at how flimsy it is! The AR device is vastly more solid.
Really like that bar and light setup, just what I'm looking for myself. A couple of questions:
1) Any reason you went with the single-row light bar vs the dual-row? Fitment issue between the two?
2) How did you wire it? Straight from an Aux switch or via a relay?
From the Washington vehicle code:
§ 74.05 TAIL LIGHT; ILLUMINATION OF REAR LICENSE PLATE.
(2) Either a tail light or a separate light shall be so constructed and placed as to illuminate with a white light the rear registration plate, when such registration plate is required, and render...
From the day I took delivery of my Bronco (06/23/2022, 4 door, MIC, Squatch) I've been completly befuddled at the "wind noise" threads.
Buzzing around town at 20-50 MPH? Nothing. Maybe a little tire noise from the big Goodyears which is to be expected.
Going down the highway at 60-70-80 MPH...
I was dumb enough to use the adhesion promoter that came with the deflector. That stuff combined with the 3M tape really created a strong bond to the hood so it took a good bit of effort to remove it.
We had some really hot days here in SoCal recently and that is when I pulled it off. I let the...
Bought it, put it on, didn't like it, took it off and has been sitting in the garage taking up room and getting in my way. It is in 100% condition but you will need to stop by an auto parts store and get a roll of 3M tape (1/2") to adhere it to your hood.
