I have to admit, I am really liking the amber LED also. If my black letters burn out eventually, I may have to switch to amber, to match the LED turn signals in the base grille.

Good deal. My AMB Basesquatch is supposed to be built this week. I have the T45 Torx, and ordered the Torx plus yesterday. It sounds like I will need them both. I am going to powder coat the beauty rings, and I have already purchased a grab handle, since the base does not have one.

Just to clarify, the beauty rings are definitely T45 Torx, NOT Torx plus?

Thank you! I have watched your video a few times. I plan to use a metallic titanium rattle can to paint. A little darker than silver, or white, but enough contrast between letters and grill to make the letters pop. Hopefully the vinyl overlays peel off easily after painting.

I have bought the vinyl overlays for the letters, with a plan of placing the overlays after 800 grit sanding (edges only), and prepping, then paint with a contrasting color. After paint, removing the vinyl overlays, to have gloss black front, with contrasting edges, in an attempt to achieve this...
