Check my thread "Price Protection Refresher needed" under this sub-forum. While my initial price protection numbers are different i am having the same problem. Dealer is not honoring MY2022.5 price protection.
The discussion does a good job explaining it for early reservation/order holders...
Thank for your assistance.
Yeah their info came from their regional dealer rep. They just talk about not recouping the money. And I say Ford says I have MY 2021 to 2022 PP according to FAQ. Guess we'll see how it goes tomorrow.
First one of two Broncos arrived at dealership. Wife's OBX came yesterday. 8 days of shipping. Not bad.
Now to get the dealer to honor MY22.5 Price Protection. Says I don't qualify even though I was a Jul 2020 reservation holder. Ford.com FAQ says I qualify.
Pick up tomorrow either way.
You are correct.
Bolded text - So now how do I get the dealer (or help the dealer) to honor the additional $1250? And the path I took is exactly what you described. So help me here Yoda. I reserved in Jul 2020, ordered in Jul 2021 (though technically dealer submitted my order in Feb 2021 that...
Awesome. So that is how I understand it conceptually.
However, what I just posted (Post #7) above from PGM #38466 say you had to have made a change after Mar 11, 2022 text was highlighted in orange. Here is the quote "Eligible customer's Ford Bronco SUV must be reserved or on order as of...
That is the way I read the FAQ, it is either the reservation or order. Both should qualify.
Right now though I have the $250 PP. But my dealer says I do not qualify for the other even though I reserved and (technically) ordered before Mar 2021.
Above you said $1500. Sorry if I am missing something. Trying to figure out what document raises the price protection from $250 to either $975 or $1500.
Okay. So here is the latest from my dealer. See the PGM (I assume) below. I have asked for the full PGM. They said I actually needed to make in series or door to my Bronco to get this price protection. That doesn't make sense. I have not changed my order since I first ordered it.
So back...
Thanks. Good info and that is what I thought.
But do you know why there is a discrepancies in PGM ($975) and FAQ ($1500)? And how do I get the dealer to honor that MY2022 to MY2022.5 PP?
Can someone add some fidelity to the various Price Protections (PP)? Thought I had it figured out and it was pretty cut and dry. But dealer is saying I might not qualify for all of them.
I have looked over the various threads here on it, reviewed the 2022 Bronco Price Protection Incentive (PGM...
Is Palsapp only for convoys out of MAP? Or can you use it track vehicles after they arrived at the automotive terminal via rail. In the blind on wife’s OBX awaiting delivery to dealer.
Hope my daughter's BB moves to "built" status soon. It is "produced" but still "in-production." (what a contradiction). Window is closing for Ford to meet their ETA completion time frame (5/19-5/25). They say no holds or delays - we'll see.
6 and we had less trail time. We waited over an hour trying to get 4 Broncos ahead of our group up that rock. So we diverted especially since our group didn't have a winch. You can see the first one stuck needing a winch in my post #18.
I think they also had more troubles further up and...
Great video. Mimicked our experience - almost. At the 7:00 minute mark we never got to do that trail. Was too wet and steep for that one rock at about 8:10. No traction because of slick mud. So our group took a less difficult trail. Too bad because that part looked awesome.
Yep. Ours was a SAS with high package. Only one in our group of six with front facing camera.
Our guide let us pick our vehicle. All 4 doors for us. Later group had a 2 door. Only Wildtrak, Badlands, and OBX in our group. All but one Badland had SAS.
Reference today was that these were 2021s. Being replaced soon by the 2022s. Those were at the local dealership and were already being delivered piecemeal today.
Not sure I would buy one either. But they were in great shape. Ours only had about 450 miles on it. Think they are cleaned everyday.
