Working on getting my Bronco set up for flat towing... Would be interested in any pics or details on where and how people have mounted the electrical connection to a modular bumper. I plan to use a 6-way plug. I've seen a a few pics in this thread where I can see them, but not enough detail...
Looks like pin 3 on the tail light connector is used on both LED and Halogen for stop lamps (and stop + turn signals for halogen). LED uses pin 5 for turn only. Seems if Curt used pin 3, as mentioned above, it would work properly for both LED and halogen models.
Has anybody been able to figure out how to add any puddle / approach lighting to lower models without the puddle lamp mirrors? It looks like the puddle lamp circuits are not populated at the mirror connectors underhood. I haven't dug down to the door modules to see if the outputs work or not...
Is anybody using the portable RVIbrake3? Curious if it works without any extra stop plate parts. Their site says if a vehicle isn't in their list it works without any extras, but seems like Bronco could also be missing just because it's new...
