I wish I had taken a photo of the factory 6.5 speaker. It has a much higher quality cone than the 4"s. I think that is partly why the stock ones produce most of the sound in the front. From what I have seen others say, replacing the stock 6.5 without adding an amp doesn't really change the...
As you are all aware, the standard audio system is lacking, especially if you spend any time with the top and doors off and actually enjoy music. It is subpar for a 2021 vehicle in any price range. Here is what I did to improve. First I tried to take the inexpensive way out and installed the...
I'm sure that color pattern will look good. I did the CO on the outside to try and make the badge as small and inconspicuous as possible. If it were not for the holes and the recess I would have just left it off.
Why didn't you just remove and paint the one on your Bronco?
When I had the Bronco in for an oil change I asked the service writer about this. I wanted to know if he could turn it on for the JBL sound bar, giving me full range outputs to the rear speakers. I don't want the sound bar, but could then tap the rears for a sub or replace the rear pods with...
I had the dupli color clear coat already at home and it works with the black. I did not know if it would be compatible with the cyber orange paint I purchased from the auto paint supply store so I purchased the Jammin clear from them to be safe.
That might look good, blue and orange are complimentary colors. I was looking at getting some shackles for ours, but the only come in yellow or orange powder coat. I'm thinking the yellow would probably match the closest. I worry that if I paint them to match it might not hold up too well.
I used the existing bolts in the bumper (modular). We don't plan on doing any hard core off roading with our new Bronco, but it does have 16" of ground clearance to the bottom of the plate and it is set back far enough that it did not hit when I tested it out on this rock pile.
Okay, my wife drives it the majority of the time and she always clears it, even when I'm driving. LOL
Either way I am just going to get the eliminator and be done with it! After watching the video yesterday the install looks super easy.
Everyone keeps saying it's pushing "one button"? Maybe I am missing something, but in our Bronco once you push the button on the dash to turn it off then you get a prompt on the gauge screen asking if your certain you want to turn it off and you have to press the "OK" button the steering wheel...
Yes I removed them and painted them. Check out the thread I made in the “exterior” section about painting my emblem for all the details on how to do it and what I used. In that thread I cover the emblem and also have some information and pictures on the grill letter painting.
A lot of people have said that, on here and in the FB groups. My cousin own's Maxlider Broncos, so I will reach out to him and see if they would be interested in mass producing my design for resale.
It actually has 15.5" of ground clearance, much more than the skid plate. This thing cost too much to go bashing it off road anyway. I did test it for clearance on this rock pile and it was fine.
Yeah the Ford plate mount is horrible. I made two different brackets and it took two adjustments to the second one, but I finally got one that works/looks good.
I don't think anyone has actually installed a emblem decal yet to confirm, however when I reached out to darksideracingart.com customer service they stated that it should be the same and the dimensions they gave me matched my emblem. For $9 you can get one from them and see. Sounds like it...
