Thanks for checking on me- i am totally capable of screwing this up. I ordered this one. Is this appropriate? https://www.extremeterrain.com/harken-bronco-hoister-garage-storage-4-point-lift-system-7803jeep.html. FB3934. I have a 9.5 high ceiling.
I think it would work. I just taped it off and sprayed it with flat black paint. I would think LineX would be pretty similar. But, I'd be careful not to seal anything that wasn't sealed by design or it may hold in moisture.
I'm going to re-work the design so that they look really nice. If it's not breaking any forum rules, I can offer them for sale here. I'll post pictures as I get it to the point I would be happy to sell them to a fellow Bronco owner.
Sure, I can make some up. What's a fair price? BTW, I was going to put a spot of glue on them, but the friction fit so tight, I'm not gonna bother. They aren't going anywhere.
This is definitely not the biggest mod you will see today, but after seeing a video about buying plugs on Amazon, I decided I would just print them. I do think it looks better with plugs than the open metal channel.
I think the value here is the frame. It looks like a pretty slick system, but I'm not sure about $600. That being said, I'm looking for something as the weather is warming up in the mid-west!
I'm just wanting one that folds down behind the spare tire. It doesn't have to disappear into the cargo area, but at least go flat and lay on the cargo sidewalls. Come to think of it, that's exactly what my soft-top for my Jeep Wrangler did.
