Tonight I took the Bronco (had it since Thursday / 400 miles on it) on the first roadtrip of a little over 4 hours.
I was using Apple Maps for directions via wireless Carplay but at about the 100 mile mark, the display became totally corrupted.
Tapping App Icons _seemed_ to still work, but...
Nothing fancy but switched out the factory Duelers for 285/70r17 Toyo Open Country A/T 3s on the Big Bend stock wheels.
The AT3s are a little taller, much wider, and a lot more meaty. Had to trim the rubber tailgate spacers a bit for the spare to seat properly. (Was a bit surprised.)
In the Palm Springs area I have seen less than 10 (probable) unique Broncos since they started getting delivered in the Summer. I only see one regularly around town. I was the 19th delivery at one of the two dealerships here and am baffled where the others are 🤷‍♂️
Never while driving but twice while parked in California. I had to beg the dealership to not install the factory mount and have a 3rd party one on order. Taped the temp paper one to the inside windshield so we shall see…
My WS was/is green too - digital and physical.
I’m going to keep checking this thread until every 10/25er is on the road. I know the wait is brutal, but it really is worth it. The truck drives so well on pavement, much better than I expected, and is crazy fun off the pavement. Today we did a...
Palm Springs Motors is honoring MSRP for all reservation holders. They had verbally agreed to this with me and tonight the deal was sealed. I was their 19th delivered Bronco.
They _did_ have like $6k-$8k worth of extras “available” but a single no and that went away (their Ford Protect pricing...
Getting lucky when the truck is still at MAP, built, and not shipped (or maybe also when it’s being moved during shipping process?). It’s useless on the railcars but does update each time the truck is started.
So I called my dealer yesterday to tell them I thought it would be delivered; they were a bit surprised! But, he called me back an hour later saying he received confirmation from shipping company it was loaded on a truck. FordPass shows me it arrived sometime overnight and I’m picking it up...
So, looks like my estimated range dropped a mile (e.g. was started) and the truck was definitely moved within the Mira Loma lot. That gives me hope it’s on a truck and headed this way! Will be going by the dealership this evening to see…
After sitting in a railyard for 6 days only 100 miles away and then spending another day constructively placed at the final rail destination, it looks like my Bronco was unloaded from the railcar. It woke up from deep sleep mode _and_ I got a GPS update. It seems like the GPS updates are only on...
To Southern California it was exactly 14 days from ship date to the large rail yard outside of Barstow. Mine sat there for 6 days before finally making it to Mira Loma this morning. Now it’s just waiting for a truck.
Not as far as I can tell. You have to get lucky though; someone at MAP has to see/accept the activation between modules populating and shipping. Other people reported getting denied; just luck of the draw.
My Bronco has officially went into “deep sleep” mode and is unreachable via Ford Pass. Never recieved a GPS update anyway, but thanks to @mpeugeot I know my Bronco left Barstow CA today at 2:55 pm, so very close now. Other updates: dealer gave me their 100% guarantee this is a MSRP deal with a...
I hate to pile on, but my dealer hasn’t responded to my emails in a while and my FordPass tracking is a bust. CSX and Palsapp haven’t been any help either.

When you know how much gas your Bronco has but no idea where it is, you do dumb things like try to correlate distinct blocks of unreachable vehicle status time (2 of multiple hours, 2 days apart) with an overlay of the US freight rail system and ATTs weaker coverage areas.
