    The bass blocker "To bass blocker or not.." on dash 4" is my big question.. With something like the Hertz that have built in crossovers.. isn't that already acting like a bass blocker and blocking out lower frequencies that the speaker isn't designed to handle? Wouldn't adding a bass...

    I was wondering this as well.. was it ever answered? Also wondering why speakers with built in crossovers (like the Hertz) still need bass blocker? Doesn't the cross over act like a band pass filter? Is it just a heat thing?

    Just installed the Bestop fender flares

    From your excellent thread on the subject I was thinking there was probably some other mods needed so tires don't contact? but maybe I got that wrong.. These look like a 2" lift basically but need a brave soul to cut out the roundy

    Just wondering.. on a stock SAS suspension, If you put these flares on and cut the rounded inside fender, would that allow you to shorten the SAS bump stops and have badlands wheel travel with the stock SAS wheels and tires? Not sure where the wheel contacts when fully stuffed..
