  1. Thoughts on not buying right now?

Tariffs will raise the price for everybody. If enough people try bidding on domestic steel, it's going to command a higher price. I think aluminum might be the bigger problem. It's an incredibly integrated market.
  2. Anyone else's 2025 order get pushed back by 2 months?

  3. Putting SAS wheels on Badlands. Stick with 285/70 KO2 or Goodyear 315/70 Goodyear MT?

Ah - thanks. I was just looking at the specs myself. I didn't know a 305 tire even existed until today.
  4. Putting SAS wheels on Badlands. Stick with 285/70 KO2 or Goodyear 315/70 Goodyear MT?

Did you know BF Goodrich has KO3s in an all terrain LT305/70R17? That could be a very interesting option.
  5. Putting SAS wheels on Badlands. Stick with 285/70 KO2 or Goodyear 315/70 Goodyear MT?

That would be my concern too. Wider flares are readily available. You might want to look at the new KO3 as well.
  6. Anyone else's 2025 order get pushed back by 2 months?

Have just been reading about the scramble as auto parts makers tried in the last three months to prepare for the 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico announced today. I am wondering if maybe that's the scheduling delay. Since November, there's been a push to build inventories of critical items used...
  7. Anyone else's 2025 order get pushed back by 2 months?

Complicated supply chains still exist apparently.
  8. Anyone else's 2025 order get pushed back by 2 months?

Same - November order, Badlands NonSas with, drum roll, manual transmission. Now scheduled week of April 28th. Leaving for two month vacation on June 13th, which was planned around having the Bronco. Will check with the dealer today to see what my options are. Not particularly keen on having a...
  9. Bronco Options/Features Question

In truth, not much - just a $80k vehicle that looked great and drove straight down the highway. :)
  10. Bronco Options/Features Question

Ain't that the truth. I went to an offroad shop where the owner specializes in trying to improve the steering of the Wrangler for people like me. He owned two Gladiators and was very forthright that the improvements he could make might not be enough for what I was looking for. There is lots to...
  11. Bronco Options/Features Question

Ned Kelly - I am exactly in the same place you are, and we've done what dgorsett suggests. My wife had a Wrangler in the 90s and was always talking about getting another. I wanted to surprise her this Xmas so I drove a couple of Jeep Rubicons and I was shocked at how poor the steering was. As a...
  12. Bronco 2024 annual sales beats 2023, helps Ford US retail sales grow double the industry pace in 2024

Perhaps Ford management thinks that part of the market will be EVs they cannot compete with.
  13. Advice to purchase extended warranty

We're taking delivery of a 2025 Badlands this spring and additional coverage is something I am seriously contemplating. This will be the most complex vehicle I have ever owned and I don't think it would take much to make one wish they had extended warranty. I have a F150 that is the only...
  14. Any owners installed both the Air Design rocker panels AND Air Design door moldings?

I'd be grateful if you could post pictures of the install - thanks in advance.
  15. Update: fixed today! - I needed to vent about my Bronco, feel free to ignore this post if you love yours ✌️

What a tough spot - I have been there too. We had a 2006 Silverado Duramax that we both loved, and I stuck with that thing way too long. The hope that the most recent fix was “finally it” was totally misplaced, and when the head gasket failed for the 3rd time, it was off warranty. I sold a...
  16. What are we doing for our pets? Show your setup

Good looking dog!!!! Appears ready for the hunt.
  17. Ford to reduce Bronco production [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Just think about the explosion in electricity consumption WITHOUT considering EVs. Data centres, manufacturing, consumer devices, heavy industry, heating and cooling - it's all being mandated to "go electric". The increase in demand is astronomical. There's already a critical shortage of power...
  18. Ford to reduce Bronco production [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

The western world is handing its car industry over to China via its insane idea to get rid of ICE vehicles. I can't think of a time since WWII when carmakers like Ford have faced a more difficult five years. It's impossible to electrify the transportation sector but governments are hell bent on...
  19. Order put in today for 2025 Bronco

I could only find speculation the position of the shifter prevented rear HVAC from being included. Perhaps somebody has a link to a more definitive explanation.
  20. Order put in today for 2025 Bronco

Well - you are correct. I missed that. Thanks for the clarification.
