Latch nazi here 🙋🏼‍♂️ this totally satisfies me honestly. Still would love my OEM style latches but this is such a simple and nice cosmetic upgrade. Bravo @Turn Offroad it’s refreshing to see such quick responses to complaints no matter how small.

I personally still love it and would love to have an ADV top because it matches all my wants, aside from having to do things I shouldn’t have to like installing all the rubber and the latches. Nonetheless I finally gave up and got a refund, but more out of fear of losing the money.

Well for sure, but it irritates me even more that it still says 12-16 weeks for new orders when there’s not a chance that mine is ready in 12 weeks and I ordered it last year.

That’s the hard part is that I do believe it’s probably really nice, even still. Even with having to assemble it. But yeah it’s hard to trust anything with how they’re advertising it.

I was almost sold on armadillo, but realizing that it’s meant to stay on plus the difficulty of removing and storing it will likely hold me back from armadillo since I spent too much money last year on a diabolical slipstream which would be rendered useless, and it’s literally my favorite add on.

Ok that’s fair, I hadn’t thought about it just being always on and just taking the panels all off and calling it good but that makes perfect sense.

I saw a video that made the armadillos sound cancelling seem surprisingly good, but I get that. Also I have a top lift from having my old top and can’t see it working with the armadillo even though I enjoy its unique look.

That smooth finish with the paint is beautiful but you’re so right about the cost to paint. Wish they could just sell a painted black version, it’s so clean and nice.
