Why, thanks! Now I'm going to have lines like:
Well, we shot the line and we went for broke
With a thousand screamin' trucks
An' eleven long-haired Friends a' Jesus
In a chartreuse micro-bus.
rolling around in my head for the rest of the day! 😆 The theme song was one catchy tune back in the day.
My Badlands was shipped March 2 and has yet to arrive at the dealer. According to Ford’s order tracking website, the originally provided ETA window of March 25-31 is now April 3-9! That's 38 days if one considers the far end of the window. I live on the other side of the continent and realize it...
I'm a longtime Ford Owner and one of my favourite features is the keyless entry pad. When I park my F-150 at the beach, I hide my key in the truck's interior and can enjoy going swimming without worrying about someone swiping my key from my stuff on the sand. If someone somehow gains entry to my...
I estimate that I'll be taking delivery of my '26 Badlands in two weeks and being able to order exactly what one wants has been incredible. That being said, there are some absolutely fantastic clear out prices on the 25s and if you widen the geographic reach of your search you may be able to get...
That's maddening. For context, I ordered my Badlands on January 14 and it was built February 27. It is now in transit. I feel very fortunate to have had such a quick turnaround.
Early on though, I couldn't get an answer from my dealer and, given the amount of money these vehicles cost, I found...
I posed the retrofit question to AI and got this response:
Officially, Ford representatives have stated that the 2026 handles cannot be easily retrofitted because the 2026 A-pillar features a unique reinforced internal structure designed specifically to support the load of those handles...
I, personally, wouldn't go for Orange Fury (too much of a school bus vibe IMHO, lol) but it's great to see Ford bringing back some pizzazz to the color palette. ('26 was a dismal color year especially when you compare it to the wonderful variety of colors that were available when the Bronco...
Yes, it seems like a vehicle can be stuck showing as In Production for a month or more which is exactly what I'm seeing with a friend's Badlands right now.
Hmm, that's not fair as you put in your order almost a month before me! Hopefully yours will indeed hit production next week.
PS: A buddy's Bronco was ordered November 13th and it went into production on January 26th. It has been sitting at that stage ever since! This is quite the waiting...
Shortly after ordering my Bronco back in January, I got a production window of the week of March 2. I just checked today to make sure that was still all on track and see that my Bronco shows as in production! (Albeit without a stated date). Is this normal a week before one's window?
That's sweet! I look forward to setting up a similar situation and to hauling kayaks topless. My canoe is long gone, but it is great to see one on the roof of a Bronco. Thanks for your posting.
I read an article a bit back that said the bland colors are a reflection of the trying times in which we live. Your post compelled me to put that theory into AI and here's what I got back:
While it's tempting to link monochrome cars to a "sad" society, it's more about utilitarianism and...
Yes, while OBXBRONCO has quite a nicely decked out rig - and while his set up might haul my shortest kayak (9.5 ft) in a pinch, it would by no means be able to port my lake boat nor my ocean-going kayak, the latter being 17.5 ft long.
