The first couple of gears will take much longer to break in (smooth out and quiet down). You spend very little time with them engaged relative to the others. At least that's been my experience from 50 years of driving motorcycles, cars and trucks with manuals.
I have a magna flow on my F150(2.7) and my HD. The F150 exhaust is a cat back. It was very quiet when i first installed it. It's opened up somewhat with more miles. Very nice low burble sound at idle and during down shifts. Not at all annoying at highway speeds.
I don't see where it states that they are frame mounted. In fact it would seem the advert avoids the subject. I don't really care. I bought a pair.
EDIT.. in the question and answer they do say mounts to both the chasis and pinch rails. so i guess it depends upon their definition of chassis
Thank you...So if I understand this correctly... everyone has to have the order placed thru the dealer..not online with ford as we did with the reservation. Do I have that correct?
The only one more confused about this than me is my dealer.(shrug)
