  1. Pairing new Bronco with nice new watch? ⌚︎

I did get a watch to pair with my Tundra: I probably go with the Panerai Luminor with the Bronco the most. Although the Planet Ocean does have the orange bezel to match the Badlands trim.
  2. Complete Stereo Install - Amp, DSP, Speakers and Sub. Lots of Pictures.

The Morels sound great. I went with those and the Kickers for the rear mostly because of their power handling and frequency response. I am not a car audio expert, but the simplicity of a 2-way system with a true tweeter seemed like the best way to get the sound I wanted. A 4" co-axial in...
  3. Complete Stereo Install - Amp, DSP, Speakers and Sub. Lots of Pictures.

Also, I can send a picture of the full audio control setup I used. Crossovers, time alignment, levels, etc.
  4. Complete Stereo Install - Amp, DSP, Speakers and Sub. Lots of Pictures.

I did build a custom amp mount with 1/4" plexiglass and used some L brackets and flat bars to fit it in the passenger rear wheel well. It is a very tight fit, but I got everything to work. For other sub options, yes I did look at other possibilities. I wanted to preserve as much cargo room as...
  5. Sub amp remote turn on?

Fuse tap to the panel under the steering wheel. #2 slot: I don't like the auto turn on feature for my amps, so I always use a remote wire. Here is my build: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/complete-stereo-install-amp-dsp-speakers-and-sub.43856/#post-1396635 I built my own wiring...
  6. Complete Stereo Install - Amp, DSP, Speakers and Sub. Lots of Pictures.

This is gong to be a long one, I apologize in advance. I ordered my Badlands SAS with the base stereo since I was pretty sure that even with the B&O, I would have ended up replacing everything anyway. I have enjoyed reading all of the approaches people have taken to get better sound from their...
  7. Spare tire rubber bumpers

I used these: Here is the before : Modified bump stops to fit. Measure once, cut, cut cut. Since they are held on by pressure and some 2-sided tape, my high-quality cutting worked fine. Result:

  9. 5$ Front License Plate Mount

I live in a state that requires a front plate and I don't want to deal with the potential hassle of running with no front plate. I will likely be replacing the front bumper so I didn't want to invest in anything permanent. My solution was to take the factory front license plate mount (not...
  10. Base Sound System Electrical Signal - AudioControl DSP View: Front vs. Rear

I have that same amp waiting to be installed. As soon as I get an open weekend it will be going in. What speakers are you running off of it?
  11. B&O sound system complete upgrade - Done ✅

For what they are doing and the components they have selected, that is about right. You might want to go back and tell them what you want to achieve and what your budget is. If they are good, they will work with you and find components that will work together and fall in line with your budget...
  12. Base Audio System Upgrade - Amp Configuration?

I'll do a write up once I have time to get it installed. It met my 2 requirements - DSP (to correct the factory signal, control crossovers, time alignment, custom program different profiles, etc.) and enough power to still have good sound with the top down at highway speed. Overkill? Maybe...
  13. Base Audio System Upgrade - Amp Configuration?

I am by no means a car audio expert, but for me, it comes down to what you want to achieve and then build your system to suit your requirements. It sounds like you want to run 6 amplified channels to the 4 front speakers and 2 rear speakers. I wouldn't worry too much about the power ratings...
  14. Bronco Toys, Diecast, RC

Just ordered this one: https://www.rcplanet.com/axial-scx24-2021-ford-bronco-hard-body-1-24-4wd-rtr-scale-mini-crawler-grey-axi00006t2/p1409430 A mini Bronco to match the big Bronco goes with the pattern I started with my Tundra:
  15. Anyone use the Kicker downfiring sub enclosures?

Exactly. In an open vehicle you lose a lot of the resonance from a side or up firing sub that you usually get from a trunk or roof. Down fire has a lot of sound benefit for open-top vehicles. Stacking stuff on top of the box is another plus that I liked about this setup.
  16. Anyone use the Kicker downfiring sub enclosures?

Once I get the whole system installed, I will do a complete write up. I was looking at it from the other direction - if I am pushing lots of power to the mids and highs, will a single 12" have enough punch? Part of why I went with the passive radiator version.
  17. Anyone use the Kicker downfiring sub enclosures?

I also have the 12" version with the passive radiator. Not installed yet, but I like the performance profile of that one when paired with the amp I am going to use. (Audio Control D-5.1300). Good performance at a reasonable price and saves me the trouble of building a box.
  18. Minnesota Sold: Badland Sasquatch Takeoff Wheels

5 Badlands Sasquatch wheels. Used for 1000 miles, as new. Prefer local sale, but I could drive them a reasonable distance. Asking $1200 for all 5.
  19. Give a shout out to your dealership if they honored MSRP pricing

Apple Ford. Shakopee, MN. MSRP. Our Bronco showed up earlier than expected. After we went to look at it, they just told us to take it and come back to do the paperwork when it was convenient.
  20. Bass knob location for subs

I haven't worked out exactly where to put my bass knob yet. Still waiting on my parts and then need to find time for the install. However, I did have the same problem as OP. In another vehicle the LED for the bass control being way too bright. I just disassembled the controller and colored...
