People were paying more than $10K over sticker for Toyota 4Runner TRD Pros, even when it wasn't that hard to find a dealer that could get one in stock and would sell for MSRP. Someone is definitely going to pay $80,000 for this Bronco, and probably more than that.
Right. But Ford is not TFL’s customer (nor vice versa). TFL is doing automotive journalism, and they can choose to participate in an embargo or not. If they don’t, and Ford want to punish them, fine, and they can both deal with the consequences.
“Bribed”? Strong word, and not the one I’d use, having watched all those Defender videos. Land Rover came off looking like a clown show from that sorry sequence of events, so not sure what the company got in exchange for the “bribe” they paid. TFL is a solid source in my opinion, way more...
Nice, congrats. I've got 2,000 miles on my Pro 4Runner (also Lunar Rock) and am loving everything about it except the MPG. I thought about a Bronco too, but I didn't have an early reservation and needed a new vehicle before sometime in 2022. The Bronco is intriguing for sure, but I think the...
Looks awesome, and so close in color to my Lunar Rock 4Runner. If it’s as close to Lunar Rock as it seems, forget all the “minty green” nonsense. It will look mostly light or dark gray depending on the light, with very subtle blue-green tint at times. It’s a very dynamic color, and I get...
Never in 30 years until last October, and then twice since then: my wife’s 2021 Volvo XC-40 and my 2021 4Runner TRD Pro. Drove both of them for the first time home from the dealership. My wife loves hers and I love mine.
My wife was on the fence about Lunar Rock, but since she picked out her last car, and this one will be my daily driver, I had final say. I went with Lunar Rock. As soon as she saw it in person, she loved it (as do I). Love the white too, though -- reminds me of the old Land Cruiser I got to...
Motorbiscuit.com is the laziest, most useless car site I ran across in 6 months of researching my next vehicle (which ended up being the 2021 4Runner TRD Pro I picked up last week). I disagree with everything in that cut-and-paste "article." I can't speak to the other trim models, but mine...
Nah, Lunar Rock is the same way. It also looks very different in different light and at different angles and depending on what it's next to. I like Cactus on the Bronco and am awaiting imminent delivery of a Lunar Rock 4Runner.
I'm not choosing the Bronco. I was interested when I saw the first photos and specs in the summer, but I'm probably in the minority here in that I don't want a removable roof and doors. If they made a model with a regular roof and doors I'd be more likely to buy. So I went with a 2021...
