I agree...get it repaired and make sure that they know you will be checking it over with a microscope to make sure the paint matches perfectly and that Ford will stand behind it as if it was never repainted. Hold their feet to the fire and if its not perfect the first time...make them redo it.
If you don't see your 220000, I ended up having to call both the dealership and Ford Pass to have them research. Dealership said 'Ford won't grant the points until you have had the Bronco for 6 months to make sure you don't flip it'. Not sure I believe this is true, but it did take a full 5...
I have had my Bronco for about two months now. I have only seen one other Bronco (yesterday), since seeing the prototypes running around Detroit, back in Spring. No doubt in my mind that others with their Broncos are experiencing the same CRAZY interest and behavior from others....and the...
Hey folks...just got done doing some programming and wanted to share my outcome.
I am using a Surface Laptop, Win10, OBDLink MX+ (Bluetooth) and Forscan 2.3.42. NOTE: I tried to use another laptop that has Win11 on it and it would not work at all. Thank goodness I had a machine that had not...
Appreciate Justin wanting to know our thoughts, but the community already knows that the amount allocated, per affected customer is $1000, not $200. The shenanigans have already begun.
I have a tough time believing that this will benefit customers at all. I still haven't seen the $100 reservation fee refunded to me after delivery....as promised at time of reservation.....
To be clear...my dealership has been great with no ADM, no shenanigans, and has been excellent post...
My dealer's mannequin was the same. A 4 dr that shows MIC on the sticker, but soft top installed. Salesperson explained that they believed that Ford took the MIC tops off the mannequin units to hold them back for customer Broncos since there were so many that were faulty.
I drove from Austin TX area to SLC and back over the last couple of weeks. One reason why we are hesitant to go out in the wild is the reaction from other drivers. Almost been run off the road about 100 times by someone who stops suddenly in front of my Bronco, or swerves toward me from the...
Also, FYI for those investigating the pigtails to the L/R tail light harnesses, the part numbers for the Motorcraft, prebuilt pig tails are:
7U2Z14S411GA (889) and 7U2Z14S411HA (890)
I have LEDs. I want to be sure I am understanding your route. It sounds much easier and seems to use the TT connectors completely, rather than needing to do pigtails to the L/R tail light connectors. Am I reading that right? Or, do I still need to get the turn/brake/marker leads from the tail...
FYI to the group...
I was able to order a hitch install kit (hardware and wiring). The hardware part took less than 30 mins as the bumper comes off with 6 bolts/2 wire disconnects and the hitch bolts up with the 4 big long bolts provided in the kit. Easy Peasy...
The...
Flip...GREAT info!! Thanks for posting the wiring harness install information. I want to go the T-connector route and found some Molex connectors on eBay. Identified them as WPT889 and WPT890 using this information to identify...
Amazing! Thanks for sharing. I am actually rolling through Moab on my way back from family visit and had planned to see if I could visit OffRoadeo in my FE. Nice to see that they are hospitable. Don't need to run the trails, but would like to buy some gear.
I had a front end PPF done on my Bronco after having the paint ceramic coated. Not sure the ceramic is fully worth it, but it was a package deal. The PPF took three days because there were no patterns or pre-cut kits available yet. The results are far better than I expected. The shop took three...
Hey folks...BIG thanks for all the input and research on tow parts and wiring installs. I have been struggling with the 'zero instructions' tow kit wiring harness as well and have been trying to figure out the best and least destructive way to get the wiring harness installed in my brand new...
