Thank you. I'm sorry your words come from such a place of deep understanding. Very sorry for the loss of your wife. Glad you got to give it to her,, see the look in her eyes and experience her appreciation for the love and care you showed her.. PEACE, Michael
Thank you Dave. I use this forum as an escape from the news, the struggles we are all facing. It is usually quite positive, though we are all allowed to grumble a bit about our delays. I greatly appreciate everyones kind words, its what gets me through.
I know that you and many others would give up their spot, much appreciated. Thank you so much. I've reached out through several chanels to see if this build could happen sooner but none has produced results. I think Ford is just inundated with so many problems that not much can be done...
So 6th build date, Sept 20th, has now changed to the 7th build date, Oct 27th. Aaaargh. Means no surprise reveal at the top of the mountain. I'd like to ask a couple favors. This Bronco is a surprise gift for my cancer survivor wife. You can look at my previous posts if you are interested...
Mis
Missy has been overboard at least twice, once while we were hooked up to two Bluefish drifting a rip in Long Island Sound. When I get my next much bigger boat she will be locked in the cabin:)
Mine when I plow in winter and mow our field in summer. They wait for me to mow the frogs and mice, then they roll in them or eat them. Labs are gross. Lucky enough to have bought a fancy cab tractor last year with heat and AC. Spoiled:)
Missy and Aoife and Brownie are not happy about the wait, but wait they will. And still have fun even WITHOUT the Bronco. I don't have a Bronco to post pictures of so I'll go crazy with the Chocolates....
So much has gone wrong in the last few years this is just another to add to the list. I passed the time buy buying wheels that really only go with the AntiMatter Blue, mountain graphics to match. They are sitting in a friends barn. I received permission to surprise her with the truck at the...
Its scary to even ask but here we go. I have tried every avenue with Ford and my dealer and they don't really have any definitive answers. I have what started as a priority build slot, have a VIN and have had six build dates, the latest being 9/20. The truck is a surprise for my cancer...
The Bronco is a surprise for my wife, but it hasn't come. I went looking for a used Subaru, Toyota or Honda and the prices were crazy so I picked this up instead. It had a few issues I resolved and only paid $3900 with 84,000 miles. She loves it, its quick and a 6 speed but won't work in...
AND I just followed a 2 door OBX
And today I just followed a 2 door OBX with tow up the road. That hurts. This was a priority build, the dealers only one, and for whatever reasons, still not built. Waiting:)
I'm on my 6th build date, now Sept 20th. It's a 2 door, MIC top OBX with tow and 2.7 so it has a few of the "sins" . That said there is a dealer near me who has that build on his lot, just wrong color. The latest email I recieved suggests the 9/20 is a scratch and there is news coming about...
I've been thinking about this for a while, because of how many people know my wife's story, how many people that aren't getting their Broncos as soon as they hoped. The ski area she works at has given me permission to drive the truck to the top of the mountain and then bring her for a chairlift...
I see it was mine. I think that the issues that Ford is struggling with, sadly, are so monumental that this Bronco is not going to hit the radar. Its all good, we will wait.
