I think the biggest issue is the weight and power train. 4 cylinder for a 5500lb suv is asking for trouble if you’re going off-road. And to upgrade engine is $13000. JLR is out of their mind
Says they’re looking to rival rivian. Good-f%£~*^%!-luck
Rivian can be seen in Long Way Up on Apple TV+ going from tip of South America to LA and looks incredible. And that’s just a prototype. The data they’re collecting is going to be invaluable to further production units.
I think competitors use similar quality parts but overall build is better with Yeti. Also it depends on specific product. Some of their tumblers are built pretty in line with competitors but the markup is only $5 more so yes, in that case you're paying for name which doesn't make much sense...
To me, deciding will primarily be based on price. The modular sounds cool but I'd have to check on the price difference. Let me go take a look at build & pr - oh wait nvm
Spoke to Pleasantville a few weeks back. X plan, no pricing above MSRP. No additional incentives. Curious if they tell you otherwise. Guy sounded frustrated that he had no communication from Ford

They should have a jar. In the jar? Folded pieces on paper. On the folded pieces of paper? October/November dates. A ford employee blindly pulls a piece of paper from the jar, reads it aloud. That person wins nothing. The date they wrote? B&P release date. That way we can blame someone other...
