9 hours away...this is tempting. Is there an estimate for how much delivery charges are going to be? Trying to calculate that into the total price. Going for a 4 door base with 2.7l engine.
Being so close to the launch of B&P, Ford should have a pretty good idea of what the final product will look like/be that I wonder how hard it would be for them to send a couple to major dealerships in major cities so people can get an in person look. Would love to actually be able to touch one...
Just something for everyone to keep in mind, B&P isn't out yet and based on what I've heard from several dealers, it doesn't sound like there's a lot of transparency between dealers and Ford HQ.
The best I've got from dealers in my area (Westchester NY) is they will not charge above MSRP...
I’m wondering if dealers will give out stuff at time of order or something. Like if you recurved bags and mugs and stuff and then moved your reservation or cancelled, they just gave away stuff for nothing.
It looks great in sage green. That said, my wife’s 2020 Tiguan is a dark green so I won’t get sage green even if offered. Too much green in the driveway.
I still don’t know what color I want. Black, white, Area 51, cactus grey. They have nice color options
We have a big blue plastic jug we got at Dicks for $20. Holds 7 gallons of water we use for hikes and cooking and coffee. As we "car camp" now with my wife's Tiguan, our only vehicle, it's fine for now but once I get the bronco I'll need to get something with a bit more quality.
That's a pretty sweet setup. I've seen some other Tacoma set ups that made me look at Tacoma's. I like the size and ruggedness of them.
Wife and I plan to take the bronco on a nice long trip up to Nova Scotia so the rooftop tent is definitely in the cards.
That water jug, is that lifesaver...
You do any overlanding? This sounds like a pretty aggressive set up for normal road driving.
The rigid lights they showed off on the front looked nice.
Also thinking of go pro and phone holder for the mount
The Bronco reveal came at the best possible time for them to market it to someone like myself, early 30s and bitten by the camping/overlanding bug. Been obsessively watching TrailRecon videos on youtube and then they announced this. I was looking at defender early on but our dealer is asking way...
