I agree. In fact, I've worried about the impact that would have on the process as a whole. I hope it would motivate the smaller volume dealers to, at the very least, forgo any attempt at a mark-up. Then again, it could have the opposite effect. If a few dealerships are soaking up volume share...
According to dealers I've seen on here, these will not count against allocation. There wont be allocations until all the reserved Broncos are built and delivered.
Tune and downpipe for me. I'd say intake, but this is my first off-road vehicle, and I plan to learn to use it appropriately, so I imagine the stock airbox will be better at keeping trail funk from the engine.
I'm not sure I'll go much further than that (I'm lying to myself, and all of you...
My wife, who is a contract lawyer, has this to say about the contract between purchaser and dealer:
Just kidding. She's too expensive. I can't afford to get her legal opinion on this or anything.
Nice product placement there! It tells you how important branding and labeling is. While idly scrollong that Siest Key Rum jumped right out at me.
I need to finally drink some of the bottles I've been hoarding.
I'll be curious to see what industry folks have to say here. It sounds logical to me, and when things sound logical, I automatically assume it wont work out that way.
I'd be happy to drop a SERIOUS deposit, it it meant I got what I ordered for the price advertised.
I agree with the roll out timeline, coulda' been better. I'd like to add:
Limited reservation numbers
Higher cost for reservations (especially FE)
Clear guidlines on Dealer changes
Guarantee no ADM on Reserved orders
Ford, I don't want to speak for this VIntage person, but I'm guessing we are...
Yeah. I'll wrap it . . . in bubble wrap and moving blankets and store it permanently in my garage. It'll never be on!
Okay, back to reality.
I hope the white top is a thing, if not, I've seen some pretty cool retro renderings that could be duplicated with wraps. Could be fun.
Greetings guys and gals,
Last week I asked how ya'll were feeling a week after your reservation. Well, here we are kids, week two. Lots of obsessive chatter about trims. Lots of nitpicking spy photo. Lots of endless conjecture regarding what is, what could be, and what should be. From 3500 -...
Lose factory Warranty, unless it's from Ford, or a piggy-back tuner you can remove. Perhaps some longevity on certain parts. A tune on a manual car will effect the clutch.
I've had tuned cars for 20 years. It's magic. It really is.
Same. 10:40pm est.
If they use the reservation number as they claim, it wont matter at all.
It may matter, though, if you print out the email, storm into the Bronco factory, and demand satisfaction!
