For those that installed the kit, how much shorter are the metal brackets for the rear side of the fender liner compared to the OEM plastic piece? Trying to figure out how much clearance is gained. Also, does anyone have a part number off of that plastic piece they removed ?

My paint chipped in that spot. That was before I installed my rockworx bolts. Never torqued the factory bolts beyond specified torque either. Just another crappy part of the hardtop design.

There is at least one other relocation bracket maker that states a required minimum compressed strut length to avoid contacing the frame with the bracket during articulation. Are there any such restrictions with your setup?

Like you, I chose Lasfit and have been very happy with them. I'm running their SAE fogs on my aftermarket front bumper and the flood lights on my rear bumper. Quality was MUCH better than anticipated. Seems well sealed and the wiring uses a standard connectors that made install even easier...

I wonder if Barnes redesigned their shock skids... I had to trim out a good bit to actually clear. It was at least 1/4" both forward and aft.

Would be good to have it extend around the hardtop rear shell bolts to the top rail to protect from the bracket. My paint has chipped from the edge of that bracket.

I've got this same one. Watch out for the lower table rubbing the upper table edge when folded. I now have a line of missing paint. The issue is the rubber stop isn't long enough to keep the tables from rubbing when folded up.
