I think understanding how the camera mounts is the key to this concept. Fabricating a mount into the bull bar that streamlines the look is where I want to focus first. I’ll see what I can see on my camera to get an idea about a mount.
After seeing a post on FB I think there’s an easy solution to adding a winch for us who have a Badlands with Lux.
Here is the Bronco in the post. You can see the relocated camera and parking sensors.
here is my stock bumper with essential items noted:
so why can’t we add these items to...
Yes, they are a Ford dealer and want to confirm you’re ordering the correct part for your vehicle. The next step is them telling you it’s the wrong switch because you don’t have fog lights and you’ll reply that you’re adding fog lights and understand that you’ll need to activate modules…then...
The part man at my local dealership is who told me about there only being one switch and then quoted me $103 + shipping. I then found it online for $63 plus shipping from Fordpartsonsale.com who got it in less than a week.
Just reviewed and all looks to be the way I made my changes. Thanks for updating it, I wasn’t sure if it was something I could do or if it’s locked.
I have saved my changes in notes and after a few days I’ll save my current as-builts to a new folder, once I know I like them, and this will be my reference point in case I need to restore or reset anything.
Here’s an update from my Bronco. To turn off the ”doo doo doo” for the key-in chime and the door ajar chime the changes are in IPC but on line 720-01-02 rather than 720-02-01 as listed in the spreadsheet. The following worked for me:
720-01-02 xxxx x*xx changed from 0 to 2 to turn off the...
I was able to replicate the amber post as DRL setting tonight. I did it in the IPC module (the easy to navigate one) and changed the Left Turn Signal to “Turn and DRL” from “Turn”. I did the same with the right. In the photo I have the wheels chocked, the parking brake on, a flashlight...
More of an update on Sport mode on a Badlands. I spent a lot of time behind the wheel today and while driving and switch from Sport to Eco the transfer case switches back to 2H from 4A on its own.
So it appears as though the only time it stays in 4A is when it’s in Sport at shut down and you...
Has anyone with the Advanced 4x4 figured out a way to get the transfer case to switch back to 2H after turning Sport mode off? When I switch my Badlands to Sport it shifts to 4A but doesn’t shift back when I turn it off. Other modes shift in and out.
