Hi all. Was on a more difficult trail led by a local off-road club. Hit hard a few times then got high centered on a pretty big rock. I bent the arms attached to the frame rail. They don’t look structural or important 🤷‍♂️ and I dented a skidplate. wondering if anyone knew what was above that...

No noise. A bit of late but not really intrusive. You did catch a glimpse of them through the windshield but it didn’t block your vote in any way.

Thanks. 😁 The entire rack is aluminum. Some of the hardware is stainless. Not sure about the black bolts and washers but I’d assume they’re ‘rustproof’ too.

‘Rust proof’, yes. The only things I added were bolts (stainless) and electrical connectors (waterproof). everything else were part of the either the RTR Off-road light bar or the TrailRax TRMR rack. here’s the video I made:

thanks everyone. i've ordered a firestik antenna. i'll mount to my hammerbuilt antenna mount in the rear and have it 2' above my roof (4'). talk to you guys on the airwaves ;)

finally got around to finishing the modification to the trailrax rack. I posted the results in a thread I started under the ‘exterior modification’ sub topic. Let me know what you think. here’s a photo of a dry fit just to check wiring.

wanted to get GMRS but the group I'm traveling with the most uses CB. decided to get a Firestik and will mount it to my Hammberbuilt accessory mount next to the spare tire. wondering if anyone had any guidance on what length i should get? comes in 2, 3, 4, 5' thx.
