I ended up ordering from one of the aftermarket companies once Ford started jacking the price up significantly more than during the order phase. Fortunately they shipped me only the necessary end pieces when the issue came up.

Is that the driver or passenger side? My original rack was shipped with two passengers and no drivers side so I have a spare I’d be happy to send you.

Thanks! They’re from KBD. Some have complained about them not fitting well and being difficult to paint, but I’ve had good luck with mine thankfully.

Looks great to me! I went the same route which inadvertently saved me thousands from deciding not to paint my top gloss black like the MOD top many of us waited for. I’m really digging the contrast with yours and the AMB compared to my 50 shades of gray.

Friends have their lime green jeep on Turo and live 5 minutes up the hill from GVR. Good advice from the others suggesting something other than a sedan to get you down the dirt road portion.

I deflate the mattress probably about 50% each time and then leave the fitted and top sheets on. I take the blanket and pillows out though. It would definitely be a lot easier to leave it all in there but so far I haven’t. Hope you’re enjoying the tent!
