Thanks for taking the lead on this. I just started a dialogue with a dealer in MA about a potential group discount. I'm hoping that I can get another offer on the table for comparison. I would be open to moving to Bowen if nothing else pans out. I suspect we probably don't have enough people to...
Since I have today off I've been making some calls and I've found a dealer in MA who is open to talking about a group discount. I told him that I think we could get somewhere between 20-40 reservations depending on the deal. As a starting point, I've inquired about whether they would be...
This is my biggest gripe too. I'm flexible on a lot of my options but the Advanced 4x4 and a rear locker are the two that I really want. That combo now requires either BaseSquatch or Black Diamond. Hopefully it's just a bug.
The advanced 4x4 is a must have feature for me since I will be moving back to MA next year. I like the safety it adds when dealing with black ice or standing water on the highways. I was initially planning on adding it to Base or Big Bend but that requires the Sasquatch package. Somehow Black...
If I add up all the options individually it does not seem to match the "accessories and options" total in the pricing summary. There must be some other fees hidden in there because the summary is like $800 higher than it should be.....unless I'm missing something.
I was going back and forth between Base and Big Bend but adding the sasquatch just to get the advanced 4x4 makes Black Diamond the best value for my options. I was not expecting that at all.
It looks like the only way to add the advanced 4x4 on the Big Bend is by upgrading to the Sasquatch. This seems strange since this is a standalone option on just about every trim other than Base.
Doesn't the 2015 WRX also have a direct injection engine? Are you seeing these problems on your Subaru? I have an older EJ so I don't have any experience with the newer FA engine. I would prefer the 2.7 manual combo as well but the auto isn't a deal breaker for me.
Thanks for the great work Rick! This officially takes CG out of the running for me. I don't really care that much about color but I don't want something drab. It's looking more likely that I will be going with VB or AB.
If this were an option in the poll this would have my vote. As Don said it checks off most of the boxes besides the Cyber Orange color. Go with the BB, 2.7/auto, rear locker and it should put you right around $40k before delivery / taxes.
I was originally going to go with a base build but I...
If I were buying this for myself I would get a 2 door manual. It's really fun driving a short wheelbase SUV and they look awesome.
My Bronco will begin its life as a family SUV so it's 4 door automatic for me. My wife is not comfortable driving manual and we need the space/access for a car...
I agree. The all weather capability is the main selling point for me. My wife will be driving the Bronco too so I want the "set it and forget it" option.
I don't think this is correct (at least I hope anyways). All of the brochures that I've seen list the advanced 4x4 as a powertrain option for the base trim. Other options in that brochure like the 35" tires and lockers specify that they are part of the sasquatch package.
I also believe that...
I wanted to cross post this information I found in the dealer information thread. KozMQZ has a reservation with Marcotte Ford in Holyoke, MA and based on his post it seems that they might be willing to work with us on price if enough people reserve. Might be a good place to start.
I will likely be getting the "on demand" 4wd option for my wife as well. Has anybody added this feature on another Ford model who can provide a price for comparison? Like the thread starter, I'm trying to get a ballpark cost number. Are we talking $500....$1000....$1500?
Cactus gray is definitely my favorite color offering for the Bronco. I always see it as a very light "powder green" if there is such a thing. That's the tricky part about colors though. Regardless of what the color actually is people don't necessarily perceive it the same way.
Another board...
I would be good with something along these lines. Personally, I value working with a responsive, transparent dealer over getting absolute rock bottom pricing. (If Granger was closer I wouldn't even have to make that compromise.)
My biggest concern with this whole ordering process is the gap in...
Thanks for getting the ball rolling. I'm interested as well. I'm currently on the west coast but I'll be moving back to the Boston area in early 2021. I currently have my reservation at Sentry Ford in Medford. I haven't engaged with them at all up to this point so I can't comment on ADM or...
