  1. Sliding Rear Window - 2dr

This is a feature that just about every car company I can think of has removed over the last 15 years alongside rear glass that opens separately from the tailgate on SUVs or magic tailgates on wagons. Reason is pretty simply money. It costs a lot of money to engineer and manufacture glass to...
  2. Really impressed with Bronco towing vehicle trailer (using custom hitch built for strength)

Sorry for coming down hard like that. There are just so many dumb dumbs on this forum when it comes to stuff like that. Glad nobody got hurt with that incident! I had a pretty scary one with a rented trailer a couple years back. Two axle car trailer had a wheel fall off...with my car on it!
  3. Really impressed with Bronco towing vehicle trailer (using custom hitch built for strength)

Did you forget a /s at the end of that? Tow ratings are based on the extreme situations likely to be encountered on the road. Think hard acceleration, high speeds, wind shear, turning, stomping on the brakes, etc. Just because this guy could haul a van around town while exceeding his...
  4. Really impressed with Bronco towing vehicle trailer (using custom hitch built for strength)

Uhh. How far did you tow at literally double your vehicle’s tow rating? Doesn’t the bronco have a class 3 hitch? I’m pretty sure you even exceeded your hitch’s rating too. Honestly this whole thing is so stupid and negligent that I’m 100% percent impressed anyone survived.
  5. Report: 2023 Bronco order banks will open February 2023

Then there are people like me, who ordered from a dealer in February 2022, but the dealer didn’t submit the paperwork to Ford before the order banks closed a week or two later. So I’ve been waiting to order so I can wait.
  6. Side View Mirror Auto Adjust when in Reverse?

Definitely a really nice QOL feature on my BMW. Makes parallel parking way easier. Ford seems to be pretty behind the times on these basically free to implement features, though.
  7. Did you option the šŸ”Œ engine heater?

Many modern automakers recommend against cold idling their cars. With how tight modern engine tolerances are, especially in turbo cars, you'll do by far the most bearing and piston ring wear when the engine is cold. So you want to limit the amount of time the engine is exposed to cold start...
  8. What made you pick your trim of Bronco?

The stick. Ford’s options and package setup on manual broncos is incredibly stupid. You can’t spec mid package until you get into the badlands trim. Only options I wanted were heated seats and a rear locker. Forgoing both because I’d rather spend 30k than 45k. I can add a locker later for...
  9. How to get best dealer offer if I pay cash?

Why pay cash? If you’re in that position, you probably have good credit. Pay by maxing out a credit card and then immediately paying it off. Same money for you, but you get your CC kickbacks.
  10. Aftermarket locker options?

And just to head off the comments. A lot of people buying stick 2 doors are going with the base models because Ford's package prices are dumb. Base with a locker would be the perfect spec for just about all of us in that situation.
  11. New Product Spotlight: IAG Tailgate Reinforcement with Upgraded Hinge Assembly

You can off-road a vehicle while still taking pride in a clean appearance. If I’m camping, I’m riding on a ton of unimproved roads that impart impact loading and harmonic stresses on the tailgate. I’m also mounting a bunch of gear to the tailgate if it’s an option. So even if I’m still on 33s...
  12. New Product Spotlight: IAG Tailgate Reinforcement with Upgraded Hinge Assembly

This really looks like a great solution. Props to the design team.
  13. I know this has been said but the instrument cluster is horrendous

Curious to find out how many who are fine with the gauge cluster drive an automatic or don't tow. I'd guess it's a big percentage.
  14. 7th Gen 2030 Bronco Coming End of 2029, Together With Electric Bronco EV (TE1 Platform)

EV plugs have locks on them. So if someone is going around unplugging things, they’re breaking things. I don’t consider destruction of people’s property a prank. But I guess you do? If they would rather die by licking power chords, then they had better do it. Decrease the surplus population.
