To confirm, if I start by deleting all profiles, and when asked if it is the first time I have used ForScan, I select yes, it should save the new profile, without affecting any previously revised modules? Just double-checking.
I previously used ForScan to add GOAT modes, stop Auto start/stop, and remove double-honk. I am using the same device, but a license registered to my buddy, on my laptop (different from the one I used to make my mods). I want to make stereo changes this time. If ForScan displays a window saying...
I wired the black wire to the battery ground, and both the red, and yellow wires to aux switch 4. I flip the switch on, and back off when the cycle is complete. But it also stops on its own, after one cycle, even if you don't turn it off.
I was very methodical in my first accessory wiring attempts. First foray into 12v accessory wiring since installing my own stereos as a teenager. I will say, the aux switches were one of the best additions I made to my base sasquatch during the order process. I would encourage everyone to pay...
L&E, thank you so much for taking the time to do that. Nice choice for location as well. I misunderstood, and assumed the red wire was deleted. I am very curious if the red AND yellow can be connected to the aux switch. I may have to take a moment to test that before installing. Thanks again!
Do you remember which wire/wires you connected to the aux switch? L&E said they thought the yellow wire. Black to ground, yellow to aux, and red was not used. I haven't received mine yet, however, if I can avoid trial and error, I prefer to. Thanks!
Thanks! In a sample video, they have the black wire connected to the negative terminal, the red wire to the positive terminal, and just "Touch" the yellow wire to the positive terminal for a second. The horn cycles once.
Thanks in advance. I do not have the horn yet, or I could use process of elimination to determine the best solution. I thought I would ask those that have wired many, many accessories. The horn I am purchasing (wiring separately from OEM horn) has red, black, and yellow wires. Yellow and red...
Thank you Brother! I have a soft spot for Louisiana, the Cajun and Creole cultures, and the food. If that would have fit, I would have put it on my personalized plate. I will probably add some, and the Kicker Key 200.4, I have upgraded speakers to JBL (all 6), and added an under-the-seat...
The wiring part is pretty much done on mine, since I already have Oracle. Hopefully the fasteners won't be such a pain. I definitely prefer Aux switch, over being on whenever my lights are on.
I have the black Oracle letters. They are not as visible during the day, there is more white visible with the IAG, so easier to see during the day. Oracle photo shows light back into the grille, the IAG does not. I borrowed the IAG photo from someone on a Bronco page.
How did it go? I currently have the Oracle, and have them wired to Aux5. I am going to replace with the IAG, and wire the exact same way. I, like you, want them on only when I WANT them on.
