Probably also depends on the buyer's financing (if they're doing a loan). The bank will want to put a lean on the vehicle, and if they're not the originator, it might put a delay on things. If it's a cash transaction, it's much easier.

At the Off-Rodeo, they drill into you that you should apply the foot brake, shift into Neutral, apply the parking brake, then release and hover your foot over the break, then shift into Park. While this makes sense with the parking brake pawl, I did this for two days and went back to Brake then...

It's good to let the brake seat a bit, as you would also do after a brake job. Otherwise, your engine doesn't really break-in, it just breaks-down.

I had a 1995 Defender 90 for about 20 years, and I think the new Bronco is a better evolution of that than the new Defender is. I don't know if could sell the Bronco in 20 years for three times what I paid for it new, like I did the D90...but one can hope.

I thought most manufactures are moving away from the battery doing the start from this feature. The battery is still used for initial / cold starts, but a large capacity does the subsequent starts. This protects the main battery's lifespan, and the capacitor's is fairly quick to recharge...
