honestly mostly just want the yellow smiley old school look. If they aren't that great maybe I will figure out a way to mount some daylighters rather than spend a grand on them.

I haven't seen anyone with them there, mostly as light bars. Is it too much for that location? If you have set them up can you post some pictures, thoughts on them?

This looks good. Did you drill a hole in the socket for the screw? did you use the swivle just above the socket, is that to convert from socket size to the extension or does it need to bend a bit? Hard to tell but it looks like it sticks up quite a bit, would a shorter extension fit better?
