I don't think it will even matter soon. I think car dealers are going to be extinct within the next decade. Nobody needs a dealer to buy a car. Companies like Tesla and businesses like Carvana, Cars.com and Carmax have made it so much easier to buy without the hassle of haggling or dealing...
I hope vista ford in Woodland Hills gets tagged. My buddy drove over there to see what they had…..the only one and it had a $30K markup……was just sold as he arrived and he watched it drive off the lot…absurd.
Literally every vehicle I’ve owned for the last 10 years retains some form of driver data. If it’s got an electronic cluster that shows your speed, gas or PSI, good chance that info is stored.
Pretty sure all manufactures would share information with law enforcement given a warrant is provided...
I’m aware of what options cause cause the delay. Im just looking for timeline guidance as to how orders work. I guess you could say I was wondering if the reservation time stamp of March 2021 is what they go by rather than the actual order date in 2022. Doesn’t seem anyone has a solid answer...
Sorry for the naive question....I tried to find an answer with search function but couldn't. I reserved in March 2021. Didn't officially but my build together and order with the dealer until January 2022. The dealer didn't place the order until February 2022. At what point does my "wait"...
