this is good info and something I can corroborate. I own a couple architectural shade and awning companies and we use, among other things, lots of mesh. Several other companies make high quality architectural exterior mesh (phifer or ferrari for example) with many different openness...
I have a regular old alienshade from Amazon. I did sew a zipper pocket to it that goes around the extra roll bar tube that the Braptors have. That keeps it from bouncing.
Man you guys are not thinking outside the box. I’m sure armadillo is not going to limit their product line to what they currently sell. I’m suggesting they look at some other stuff also. They do, after all, have the capability and facilities to make bronco tops. Just an idea for additional...
Please make some low profile front and middle top sections that securely fasten to the bronco and don’t need the rear section to be installed. Or, conversely, develop a bracket that bolts on top of the roll cage that allows the factory front and middle sections to fully attach to the bronco...
flood. And yes depending on who you get the from, they can activate via switch or reverse, or both. I got my BD S1’s from SPV and got the harness that allows both but ended up just using the switch. They are silly bright and not needed for every time you put it in revers.
That might be it to "fit" them.....but i bet they rub bad just doing normal maneuvers let alone any spirited driving. 38" nittos look very large IMO on stock wheels. I have 37x13.5" toyos on 0 offset FWIW. Speedo will be way off too and i dont know if you can forscan that large.
steel would be much cheaper….no doubt. And a powder coat finish would be more than sufficient. A very stretched out “U” shape that sits on top of the roll bar and engages all three rear locking levers would be awesome.
