Got my jk new in 14 , great jeep as a 4dr. Made me miss my superior 88 xj.
Once I sat in a 21 badlands bronco I was hooked. I ordered a 22 , never regretted the change to a Bronco.
With all of the discussions about round opening and square flairs, has anyone looked at the Jeep TJ and JK rear openings?
They are round too, just covered up.
I picked up a Amazon jeep mesh roll bar hammock, and reused a old suv dog cage.
I made a safer way to travel with my big dog in the back with the Bestop panels off.
In the summer I take them off for about 3 months and now I have some peace of mind for some anti theft as well. I had to modify...
This is the same thing I wish to do.
I'm waiting for my parts person to give me a complete parts list.
Thanks for doing it first, I will be watching.
I often get my Bronco dirty and want the air intake as high as possible.
Tentative planning a day trip up the fire road and light wheeling West Harrison.
Hitting trails and down to Hale cr.
Traveling upto 20 mile bay and possibly beyond. Kid and dog friendly.our regular meeting spot the Sasquatch inn about 9:30 am , leaving for the trail about 10 am.
I'm planning on swapping out my sasquatch flairs with the KBD flairs.
I have looked for any info on modifying the rear bumper.
I want to remove the side wings that line up at the sides and sasquatch flairs.
Has anyone done this ?
If so is there any photos or videos on how to do the modifying.
A must watch, as a fabricator I see why they went in to the details. They said the 2 current ford Racks are good for every day use . The smaller tie rods are made to fail so the rack can survive. They are a fuse , any time you replace them with stronger parts you move the fuse to somewhere else.
