This is odd. Pulled the bumper again and just a few days ago the clip slid back in easy. not so much now. Tried more WD40, cleaned the heck out of it with electrical cleaner and nope. Tired a little die electric grease, nothing worked. Pins are straight.

I figured mine out. All other doors stayed unlocked. When driving my doors autolock. When I exit they Auto Unlock… but….. While it’s unlocking I am exiting and fat thumbs push it locked again. Now I keep my hand away from the lock and or check it if I bump it. Just poor design location. case...

Just looked it up. It’s been around since 1980. What I didn’t know is that soap will shorten UV protection and they recommend 30-45 days I’m willing to bet that TW graphene / ceramic paste wax will work. Beads up water 6 months for me and works on anything
