Wouldn't the % error at 80 be the same % error at 20? So even though at 80 mph, 2.5% error would be 78 mph, at 20mph, the equivalent would be 19.5mph. So yes the difference is smaller but the % error is the same, therefore 2.5% error for 60,000 miles would be 1,200 miles regardless of how fast...
I saw some people posting about these a week or two ago. I figured since I got my Bronco, I wouldn't get one but to mu surprise, It showed up yesterday!
I haven't tried to replicate it yet. To be honest, I've been driving the Bronco quite a bit and only want to ride in it not anything else. That being said, I'll check it out in my wife's explorer.
As far as the accuracy, I agree that the civilian GPS is not as accurate as government use. I just...
This might have been asked and answered alrady and I searched but couldn't find it so forgive me for asking but....
Where can you get the actual bead lock ring, not the beauty ring?
I usually have Waze running whenever I am driving. I also have Waze display the GPS speed. I typically see a slight difference between the GPS speed and the vehicle speedometer; however, on the Bronco, it seems excessive.
At 80 MPH on the Bronco speedometer, Waze displays between 77 and 78...
Just finished the rough fabrication of my antenna bracket. Still need to straighten it a bit, grind, sand, paint. Will also be adding some rubber to the back side just to be safe. I'll post more pics this weekend when I get time to clean it up.
I'll get some more pictures this week. I had to put the top back up due to rain.
I'll be reaching out to the dealer this week with this and some other minor issues. I fully expect to find issues like this as I get to know my Bronco. So long as the dealer and Ford address the issues, all is...
Updated 10/3 with the TSB to deal with this issue:
TSB 21-2339 : Soft Top Roof - Paint Scratches On Sports Tube
Original post July 25, 2021
I've had the soft top down all the way a couple of times now. Mainly took the rear and side windows off and left them off for two days. Opened and...
I know there are a few threads on radios in the forums but I'd like to start this thread for a spot to document installations. I've been trying to figure out how to mount my Wouxun KG-1000G and antenna. I am planning on mounting the face plate above the driver side visor and the mic bracket...
While I love the look of the fender deletes and was close to getting them, I decided not to after taking my Sas'd Badlands on a dirt and gravel road. The amount of dirt and stones that got kicked up and covered the sides was enough to make me rethink getting rid of the stock sas flares.
Once...
This will show the gear you are in. You can shift gears up or down but the tranny will automatically go back to auto within a few seconds and the gear indication will go away.
Yeah but what about if a buyer cancelled their order with the dealer and the dealer didn't cancel it with Ford? The dealer receives it and puts it up for sale. I can definitely see that happening.
I have the Wouxun KG-1000G
. I've been looking for a place to mount it.I am thinking of mounting the head unit in the glove box and the face plate looks like it will mount perfectly between the sun visor and the roof. I might mount the mic bracket in front of the AUX switches.
For the...
Two other small items to note om the steering column (not issues, just notes)...
On the steering wheel itself, the buttons for cruise control, radio, etc., have a rubberized cover over them. Obviously for the water resistence but I actually like the controls over the wife's explorer. Seems to...
Some impressions on the engine sound...
The 2.7 sounds great! Overall, I've been babying it for the break in period. I had to hammer down for a bit today and the engine came to life. My assumption is the addition of an exhaust upgrade will make it perfect.
Yes, the carpeted floor liners came from the factory. I know I saw this somewhere and if you look back in my posts, you'll find the quote and location on where I found it. People told me that it came with no liners and you would have to buy separately.
That being said, they are pretty crappy...
