No, look at it again. Between the “vents” as you call them looks completely different from what the end of the pad looks like. While it is the edge of the photo can easily tell that it is the end edge of the pad and not a missing button.

Hazards, traction control then there is a different button from one pic to the other. No buttons are cut out in either picture.

Look beside traction control in both pics, one switch missing from there.
