Real-world experience.... I just removed a competitor's 65w hood panel from my Bronco.. You are lucky to get 20-30w on a nice sunny day.. thats not worth much for charging anything.
Others have noted that there is a piece missing in the dash tying the rear vents into the hvac system.. so any flow intended for the rear seats, is dumped into the dash.
The oem tube doors weigh pretty close to the same as the full door. Of course the tube door wotn stop intrusion, but I trust them way more than without anything at all.
I didnt even realize there was an alignment pin given in the tool kit until like 6 months of ownership.. i dont even use it, and have never had an issue getting doors on and off.
Door storage when they are removed is always a headache though. I really need to take the time to mount my wall...

@Ragtop1962 I’m sorry I didn’t check back on the forum.. the terrain is taxing for sure. Off camber sections in washouts, flexy bits, use of a locker is handy but not necessary.

I cut the brackets entirely off.. the front one looks beefy, but it is a welded square tube. i would say 60% of the bracket doesnt touch the frame at all.
