Would the base be easier to tap into with halogen rear lights, or would it still have the same voltage/amp draw problem messing with computer and need the converter?
I’d run these if I could find some cheap takeoffs, but kind of pricey otherwise w/ all the other choices out there. Nice though and good offset!👍🏽
@Rednek Look up tow hitch wiring install for us base folks that can’t get it from factory. The kit doesn’t look like its just an easy plug n’ play.
@dirtstar2002 I know coilover packages and fitting 35s and 37s are the more glamorous side of the aftermarket, but what about the rest of us. I'm sure there are a lot of us non-sas Base, BB, BD, and OB folks that just want to run 32-34s. Will you have smaller Stage 1 or spacer kits for level...
I would prefer a "standard" looking 2-door softtop, but it doesn't exist yet (or it's yet to be seen). One thing the bestop trektop has going for it, is that it is tighter and less flimsy than the standard 4-door softtop.
For the 2-door it would be easy for them to keep the hookups. Just build it normal. Otherwise they would have to come up with a whole new process to build it without. How long would that engineering take? 🤣
I'm getting a base and a level has always been on my list. The badlands usually looks more level, but you're kind of right on this one.
More concerning is 4WP rep says badlands won't fit a spacer lift. It might take a preload spacer though, but that's a harder DIY install.
So far I’ve only gotten one build date email. Haven’t asked my dealer yet, cause don’t want the bad news, especially if it’s not official notice from Ford. Expect to be delayed, but you’d think we’d have got an update email especially with the late july builds people have been posting today...
