Just built a BL 2dr and 4dr with SAS and mid and both builds left it in the manual tyranny. I'm on my phone so possible glitch on the desktop version, but I built the same on that twice last week. It's a weird one for sure.

Either of those have a large number of the commodities with limited availability and will hamper production. Without a reservation you're looking at a lengthy wait most likely.

Per the 22 order guide mid package is not available with the 7 spd for BB or BD. Mid package is not an option for the base. If you need the mid package with a manual your only choice is BL.

In addition to clearance concerns I'm pretty sure the onboard storage needs access to the D rings to secure the bags and prevent them from flopping back and forth

The soft top twill is an additional accessory. It's the Bestop top and would be in addition to your hardtop. You won't get that instead of the hardtop, you'll get it in addition to your hardtop.

Capable bumper is only available on the BL and BD as a standard item. No other trims can get it. The only steel option for other trims is the modular, and you are correct, you can't get the full bash plates from the factory, but they are a part listed in the accessory catalog. MB3Z-5D032-E...

The 2022 order guide lists full steel bash plates as the second item under standard equipment for both BD and BL. Capable bumper is the first standard equipment item listed under both.
