ok. Thought so. Thanks for confirming. I’m hoping to find a way to wire puddle lights without Forscan so that they go on / off when door is opened / closed and when the Bronco is on but engine isn’t running (app mode?).

Probably a dumb question here, but will this approach work at all without Forscan programming? Would the puddle lights go on at all? Or would they stay on while the ignition is on? Etc…. My BD is 3 months old and I’m afraid using Forscan for anything would void the warranty. Thx.

Mike, check this thread out. Maybe this will help. Honestly, it's a little over my head or at least not as detailed as I would need in order to repeat it, but maybe it will help.

Following this. On my short list is adding puddle lights to the bottom of the side view assembly as well. I think wiring them to the dome light and aux seems like the perfect option. However, I'm not sure if that's possible and where the best place would be to tap into coming from the mirror...

Saw a video of a guy that used an add a fuse and tapped #2 (power windows) in the inside fuse box to power his ambient led light set up (under seats, footwells) and I think he was going for the same approach so that the lights go on / off when the Bronco ignition is on / off.
