  1. So what about CD (compact discs)? How to play them in the Bronco

I too am one of the antiquated few members of this forum. My last vehicle was a 2005 Tundra which I had to up-fit in order to manage my 160GB iPod full of music. Enter the Bronco, where I scoured up and down for effective ways of down-fitting vehicle tech to make that work. Considered both iPod...
  2. Rear speaker loud rattle!

The best way forward is going to be taking the plastic panel off and fitting the potential contact points with foam sheets or sound insulation. This thread may be helpful (or the links contained therein for 4-door): https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/how-to-remove-b-o-sub-from-2-door.41467/...
  3. Mabett 6.5" Rear Speaker Pods Available Now!

Oh no... I'm being silly more than anything! a) I know injection molding is really difficult for precision parts like this, b) I'm thrilled as heck that you're making these, c) Everything else that could have been a headache was incredibly easy, and d) I really, really appreciate that you give...
  4. Mabett 6.5" Rear Speaker Pods Available Now!

Everything's in & installed. Confirmed that these fit the 2-door Bronco's and it's all working like it should. More details added to the initial feedback post above ^^^.
  5. Mabett 6.5" Rear Speaker Pods Available Now!

Haha I am currently installing mine. I'm impatient and went ahead ordering without confirmation. Figured if it doesn't fit, I'm strong enough to guinea-pig our way to finding a solution.
  6. Mabett 6.5" Rear Speaker Pods Available Now!

Yes, of course - on the side that interfaces with the vehicle system. The other side that goes to the speaker is bare. That's all I'm saying.
  7. Mabett 6.5" Rear Speaker Pods Available Now!

Whelp y'all, Amazon dropped these off a bit earlier and I'm quickly back here with early feedback. The good news? I think these work for the 2-door without headache or modification. I uninstalled the driver-side OEM pod and dry-fitted the unloaded new one with loose screw-ins. So that's looking...
  8. Mabett 6.5" Rear Speaker Pods Available Now!

6.75 vs 6.5" is only like 7.8% more surface area, but it's not going to sound 7.8% better. I imagine the differences are near negligible, particularly if they're not driven by a sub and/or played approaching max wattage.
  9. If the SAS/LUX/MIC is going to push a lot of us into 2024 with no PP - what are you going to do?

Realistically, if this whole thing is legit, I would be scouring the state looking for something that's X% close to my original order, at less than $Y,000 over MSRP. Decide exactly what X and Y are, then beat a path across the state looking. And make browser bookmarks to speed up the process of...
  10. No more 2023MY scheduling for hardtops, Sasquatch and LUX (reported by dealership)

Not exactly sure, but plenty of others will still consider them upgrades for their sub-Badlands model. I swapped Badlands wheels/tires onto my BB literally 15 minutes after pulling it hit the driveway from the dealership. Great tires, and I love the rims too (though unpopular opinion in 2021).
  11. Mabett 6.5" Rear Speaker Pods Available Now!

Ordered a set of the current offering for my 2-door too. Hoping that since Mabett changed the listing from 4-door only (last generation) to 2 & 4-door that the upper bracket for these has been revised to fit both. ETA is Sunday delivery, so I'll be back here to relay details (unless someone...
  12. 6.5” Rear Speaker Pods by Mabett

Mabett said on another thread that he's got 100 units shipped and heading for Amazon (link here).
  13. Mabett 6.5" Rear Speaker Pods Available Now!

Thanks so much for the update! By any chance, will these include versions with brackets for the 2-door model?
  14. Color-Matched Painted Interior Trim

What if you went with, say, a 90s Eddie Bauer tan trim as a contrast color inside?
  15. Which GOAT mode do you use most often?

I'm a leadfoot MF'er that would like to be in Sport mode 100% of the time. That's why I drive in Eco.
  16. Interior noise / NVH ?

I was pleasantly surprised to hear how quiet my BB 2-door was when I first started driving it. That was compared to my '05 Toyota Tundra access cab (1st gen). I drove the Tundra today for the first time in months and was surprised at the sound difference - particularly refamiliarizing with how...
  17. Everyone needs to let him know these will sell - 6.5" Speaker pods for the rear

Also in for one the second you release the 2D version! Thanks so much for developing these! Been excited for them since the conception of this thread.
  18. ADV Production Modular Hardtop!

These look fantastic, and if I had a 4-door I think I'd be heavily considering a 1-piece. With all the floppy tops in my area, I bet the money difference between ADV's and what I could get selling the MIC top would be quite small.
  19. Delivered without MIC roof sound deadening

I had almost hoped this would have happened to mine after @Knownman posted this thread about aftermarket DIY opportunities. With no data to back this up, I'm sure his is at least 100% more effective than the factory option, at probably less of a cost than the original B&O cost of sound deadening...
  20. MIC Noise Reduction Guide - wind sound- aka more (or less) cowbell please

Yeah, thanks for asking! I actually ran a sound profile last weekend but had a low-yield relationship breakup and 3 emergency root canals this last week, so I haven't had time to transpose the video of the measurements into actual data points yet. I was hoping the blackout time of being on...
