That means I'm in a lot with a thousand other cars instead of a few hundred. Oh well, dealer said at most 3 weeks once it hits Mass. I was hoping maybe a week.
Thanks for the input!
Does anyone know how the transport goes once Csx delivers to East Brookfield, Mass.? Does the rail yard just switch the cars and rail it to Maine, Portland I would guess. Or would they convoy it up from there?
Ford Chat has been my best resource thus far. There's a sticky with trackers at the beginning of this thread and all over the forum. If you have a vin number you can track it's process.
Got a railcar number today. Is CSX usually fairly accurate with ETAs getting to hubs? Dealer says they've been seen as long as a few weeks once it gets to the final rail yard in Massachusetts. CSX gave me an ETA for Mass, 5/21.
Ok, so then they would be capable of seeing the reason such as a chip hold. I just wanted to double check because Chat and the help line dug into it and couldn't find a reason. Thanks and good luck!
Was it Ford chat that sent you that? They just keep moving my ETA. They keep saying it's built, but it's still on plant hold and they have no idea why.
Congrats on what seems to be everyone from this build week having good luck! Happy to see everyone finally getting their rides.
Small rant here though. I'm dealing with one out of only three Ford dealerships in northern Maine. MSRP and no ridiculous ADM were my reasons. Yet I see freshly...
I know it's been mentioned somewhere before but I can't find it. What rail company handles cars east of the Mississippi, as in to Massachusetts. Ford chat told me that they were backed up therefore my delay. I didn't ask, dummy I am, what company it was. Just curious.
Anyone ever have Ford chat (online and phone) tell you shipping has been bumped to one date, but the dealer gives you a completely different date?
Ford said it bumped from this week to next. Dealer said all the way to May.
I'm gonna hope the nice lady from Ford Chat knows best.
ETA just got pushed out from 4/11-4/16 to 4/16-4/22. Fingers crossed that's the only one. I guess I'll be thankful that it's not a production constraint.
Finally got an update from my dealer. April 11-16 to get my Bronco all the way up to northern Maine. Blend 3/17, built 3/23, so I guess that's not terrible. Hopefully that's good news for other New Englanders for this build week.
Anyone in northern New England have any shipping updates? I'm in northern Maine, so I know the train hits Mass and then comes by truck from there. Dealer had no idea on shipping status.
I'm selling my Raptor tomorrow and I feel like I should be driving my Bronco right after. Gonna need some kind...
Pizza tracker updated today, 3/17 blend, but built 3/23. I guess the side steps held it up. But at least it's done! Shipping will be a longer wait as I'm in northern New England. No next day delivery for me.
Newbie lurker here. 3/17 blend, 3/18 mods popped, 4 digit tear tag, but pizza is showing it's still in production. But by the comments of others, I have hope that the trackers are just slow. I can't imagine side steps holding my build up as the only accessory. But anyway, good to be here!
