  1. 4x4 Shops in Austin to install a puck lift? Quoted $1k for a RC 2 inch puck lift

Try Baldy's 4x4 or THOR offroad. I've heard good things about both. Also make sure the shop is including alignment in their quote
  2. Where to buy wheels from?

I would suggest discounttire or a local wheel/tire shop if you only need wheels. most will price match if you find it cheaper online. Then, you'll pay for mounting and balance. places like discounttire will then rotate and balance for free usually. If you offroad I would also recommend 0 offset...
  3. Is an electric Bronco in the works for the US market?

Valid concerns for sure. It's very much dependent on where you live and where you travel to. Crazy to think 100ish years ago people were reluctant to switch from horse and buggy to primitive auto as well due to gas stations being few and far between. It made sense for a lot of rural folks to...
  4. Is an electric Bronco in the works for the US market?

I just don't understand the obsession with range. true 500 mile range is 7 hours of driving at 70mph. Whose bladder is lasting that long? I only do a couple of road trips a year where that would even matter. I'd rather not have a gas engine to maintain at all and have a 350 mile range.
  5. Pro Cal Octane & Updates

If you're going to run 87, flash it back to stock. if you have E85 readily available, I'd throw in 5 gallons per full tank of 87 and keep the tune on. The procal can handle up to E30 mix and that would get you pretty much 91 octane which would be fine
  6. Is an electric Bronco in the works for the US market?

They're going to offer both, with EREV coming to market first. it will use a 1.5L 3 cylinder or 2.0L 4 Cylinder as the generator
  7. Is an electric Bronco in the works for the US market?

I'd be interested depending on the specs. Been daily driving a Tesla for a couple of years now. In reality, there's no cons. I too, have a Scout reserved, but I'm only interested in the BEV variant. I have less than zero desire for a hybrid.
  8. SSVPod/Alpine Upgrade Help - Sounds Worse now.

This ^^ These made a pretty good improvement for me even with the base SSV Speakers
  9. Found an Ethanol Limit Tuned on "E50"

the 3.0 needs a HPFP upgrade. Low-side has overhead. When I was helping ZFG develop the tuning we were hitting 90%+ duty cycle on E50 IIRC (Keep in mind, my tune is basically max effort as we were trying to find the limits) Unfortunately HPFP upgrades are pricey. Too rich for my blood...
  10. Are MT Baja Boss AT noticeably sluggish on a Braptor?

My Falken R/T01's are 82lbs a piece. There was a noticeable difference in performance as well as fuel economy. The trade-off being I know they will hold up off-road and are much tougher.
  11. Tune Ideas other than ProCal

A vote for @ZFGracing . I've been running Adams tuning for over 2 years and I drive hard. I've had zero issues. With the RTD device it's actually very simple now. A little more complicated process is small price to pay for a higher quality tune overall.
  12. Save on Fuel (and get more power) - How to Properly Blend with Ethanol

I did not experience this at all with my F-150. The only tank of gasoline it ever saw was the one it left the dealership with. It was strictly E85 after that. When I tore it down at 30k miles to build it, the bearings were perfect. Sounds like he was confusing Ethanol with Methanol or you heard...
  13. Save on Fuel (and get more power) - How to Properly Blend with Ethanol

That’s a pretty accurate statement. When I’m in west Texas doing Baja type runs I throw in 5 gallons of E85 mixed with 91 and it runs just fine. Recommended by my tuner since I have a dedicated 93 octane tune. E85 is the best octane booster. Better than anything off the shelf. Just stick to an...
  14. Built 3.0l Bronco Raptor/ Ranger Raptor short block!

Impressive. Basically, you'd need a Built 10R80 swapped in + lots of air and fuel to reach the limit of this shortblock (not counting unforeseen failures along the way)
  15. Built 3.0l Bronco Raptor/ Ranger Raptor short block!

For discussions sake, what's this good for? 850ish rwhp if I had to guess?
  16. Braptor ‘fit’ on Schofield Pass / Devils Punchbowl?

Just checked. it was Sep 2024. Beautiful trail. Probably a top 3 for me from the week I spent in Colorado touching as little pavement as possible
  17. Braptor ‘fit’ on Schofield Pass / Devils Punchbowl?

I ran it a couple of years ago. It's narrow, but I don't remember any part being particularly sketchy, but I also have a pretty high tolerance for risk.
  18. Removing Rear Resonators

I imagine these tone down drone a good bit. Do you have downpipes? That made enough difference for me to not want to touch anything else on the exhaust. Maybe it’s a sign I’m also getting old.
  19. 2025 Raptor - no bead lockers, was that dropped

You just need a friend with a facebook account willing to help. Just have to go to the marketplace tab and search "Raptor wheels". There should be a fair amount if you live close to a major city.
